Positive: Our stay at Villa Pivac was absolutely perfect! The apartment is spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and modernly furnished, with all the necessary amenities. It’s in an ideal location, just steps away from the beach, and has private parking — a huge plus for Makarska. We especially enjoyed the beautiful balcony, perfect for relaxing. A special thank-you to Helena, who greeted us warmly and stayed in touch throughout our stay, and to Silvija, the owner, who was incredibly kind and attentive. Her lovely gesture of baking a homemade apple strudel and bringing it to us warm at the door was simply unforgettable. We truly felt at home here — and we’re already looking forward to coming back again!

Positive: Amazing location! Great communication. You have everything what you need for great stay there! 1M$ view to the mountains. The owner also made a gift by bringing homemade apple strudel. 30 sec and you are on the beach!

Positive: We were very warmly welcomed. The room is very bright. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had several requests to the host and they were fulfilled instantly, it was incredible! A cozy balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains. 2 minutes to the sea, also 5 minutes from the bus stop. We liked everything! This is what we expected. However, it was kind a surprise for us that central Makarska beach is not as clean, as it could be, mostly because of the pigeons.

Positive: A parking space was made available for all members of our group and the hostess was exceptionally helpful in assisting us to get acquainted and comfortable within our room. The location was also perfect with all amenities available within a 50 meter radius of the apartment... including a lovely little bakery directly below our balcony where we were able to enjoy fresh and delicious pastries and bread rolls daily. We did look at booking the hotel located directly in front of our building however the cost was more than double what we were charged at Villa Pivac, with additional parking charges. I would recommend this accommodation highly to anybody staying in Makarska.
Negative: The only issues we had within most of the accommodation we stayed in was that there were no ice trays available in the freezer section of the fridges in Croatia (something I am used to in Australia) but we were able to purchase disposable ice bags that we could use instead so wasn't really too much of a problem.
Summary: Exceptional location with close proximity to EVERYTHING!

Positive: The breakfast options were limited but fantastic and beautifully presented. The coffee was also superb and we even got to enjoy some home made walnut strudel that was made by the hostesses' mother in law for her lunch... thank you for sharing!
Negative: The only downside was the distance from the local beach which was a 10 min walk but once we got there, it was fabulous.
Summary: The onsite parking was fantastic and a great benefit when travelling with multiple suitcases.
