Positive: Nice, modern apartment and very friendly service. We had to leave much before breakfast what was included to the price. We asked them a day before if they could prepare something simple for us as breakfast and there were sandviches, fruits, Nutella, soft drinks, etc. packed when we departed.

Positive: Very clean, comfortable bed, quiet area close to the center of the town, convenient parking, good breakfast, nice staff.
Negative: Sliding bathroom door, which does not close properly, so lack of privacy if you are not staying alone in the room. A little overpriced, but again you have to compare to what’s in the area.
Summary: Clean, comfortable room in a quiet area, but only 10 min. on foot to the old town.

Positive: The location of the property is good for those who plan to rely on train and those who arrive by car. Since I was arriving by train, this was my logical choice and the way from the train station to the property is just about 450 meters, all downhill, so quite convenient. The location is absolutely non convenient for those arriving by bus! The building itself is recently renovated/reconstructed and is located in relatively quiet neighborhood above the center of Český Krumlov. The breakfast was simple, but satisfactory for a one night visit.
Negative: There are several details that almost spoiled my visit to Český Krumlov. The first was very persistent, via Booking.com message service and my personal email, requirement of online check-in. I did not like the idea, but decided to make a favor to my hosts that were insisting that by doing this I will spare a lot of time to them and to myself. I found this insistence very annoying and even disturbing, but OK, I have done that. On the day of my arrival I received new set of messages that explained that I will not be met by a human, but that the keys will be deposited in the box located next to the entrance doors. When I have arrived during the rainy evening, I have encountered the boxes, but I had to leave my luggage in the rain because there was not an eave to cover it and I had to deal with barely visible numbers in the dark and in the rain. Since I was not successful from my first attempt, I called the hosts on their publicly presented phone number, but nobody replied. Later I succeeded to obtain a key from the box using my phone as a flashlight. I have entered the room wet in the same way as it was my luggage. One additional detail that is definitely a minus was the refusal to deposit my luggage until the time of my departure. Indeed, this is definitely a goodwill, but something that is readily done by the majority of properties that want to please their customers. Vila Vyšehrad is definitely not among them. In the end, I was given a room that was literally next and in the same level of the walkway and the street. Not such a problem because of the noise, but the privacy was totally compromised. All in all, very unpleasant stay.

Positive: The breakfast was fine the next day, then we finally met one of the staff, who was nice.
Negative: A weedy environment, a handful of parking lots, where no road leads. On foot, it's quite far from the city center. No green environment, no fence. No one welcomed us, we had to call to get our accommodation key, which was the same as the entrance key. Everything is empty, we can't ask anything from anyone... (they don't speak English very well either) Ground floor STREET FRONT room, you could easily see in from the street, which is a few meters from our window. The window couldn't even be open, because our room was actually next to the sidewalk. (neither a fence nor security locks.) It was cold, we couldn't heat it with anything, the bathroom heating was also turned off. There was NO FREE Wi-Fi either. In the absence of information, we could hardly find the breakfast place (no information about where it is).

Positive: The family apartment booked for two - a perfect setup: large apartment, impeccably clean. A lot of place to scatter all your belongings to have them at hand. The location is excellent if you arrive either by train or by car. Everything is easy to get by foot. The breakfast was exceptional, generous, and tasty, with homemade cake.
Negative: The kitchenette equipped with just a few basic utensils. Everything in black, gray and white. The colors could be seen only on TV.
Summary: Great value for money; comfy and clean; good breakfast. Overall we're happy and plan to return here
