Positive: The villa is an absolutely stunning colonial building set in a lush, beautifully maintained garden that feels like a tropical paradise. The decor was very tasteful, and both the room and bathroom were lovely. The staff were extremely polite and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. The food was good. What I personally appreciated the most was the peaceful atmosphere — there were no street noises reaching the villa, and it was an easy walk to a beautiful beach. We also treated ourselves to an aromatherapy massage, which was very relaxing and a pleasant addition to our stay.
Negative: I attended a yoga class offered by the hotel, but unfortunately, it felt more like a stretching session than actual yoga. Later, I found out that the "yoga teacher" was also the hotel’s masseur and tuk-tuk driver, which was a bit disappointing.

Positive: Immaculate gardens & pool, lovely staff especially Vija. Large bathroom and good shower. Interesting breakfast. This is a proper health retreat (which we didn’t realise) so no alcohol available (you were able to bring your own in) and only vegetarian food served but the staff really went out their way for us and brought in coffee and bread which I don’t think was normally available.
Negative: Room very dark. We did have patio doors but as there was no gauze curtain and we had to keep the shutters closed as we were next to reception. Bed very creaky and mattress could do with replacing. Runner on bed had holes and was a bit tatty. Many of the room amenities ticked on booking.com were not present in the room. Slight musty smell.

Positive: The villa itself is gorgeous. It's a large, old-feeling house but that has been exceptionally maintained. The grounds are also beautiful and full of flowers and ornamental ponds. Our room was a touch smaller than we expected, but it was still great. The food was excellent, very delicious and served in generous portions. We ate all our meals in house and were very glad we did so, it was very reasonably priced. The pool was clean and warm and there were also facilities for therapeutic massages and yoga, though we didn't use those.
Negative: Our room did get a bit hot at night and our AC didn't seem to be doing much to cool it down, but we were able to sleep with the window open as there was mesh over the window to prevent mosquitoes getting in.
Summary: Excellent stay in a beautiful villa with delicious local food, highly recommend.

Positive: Its beautiful villa with huge tropical garden and pool. Its very quiet and with only few people accomodate,you feel like you all alone. The staff is very helpful and polite. Althought they have only ayurweda food,the prepared other meals for us🙏 its 10min drive to Ambalangoda and Balapitya. Aroud near on Galle road are some shops. Theu little alley you are on beach in less than 5 min walk.
Negative: The time there was not enough:-)
