Positive: We have chosen Villa Atmosphere several times for 3 and 4 day stays. Our latest stay (3 nights) was as good as ever. Our room (and bathroom) was very spacious and clean and the large double bed very comfortable. Breakfasts were varied and delightful: orange juice, home-made yogurt, and different fresh fruit salads daily. There were local cheeses and ham plus good bread, croissants, and brioches. Delicious home-made jam too. Also excellent coffee. We highly recommend this friendly and peaceful establishment which is also very convenient for getting into town.
Negative: Everything was fine.
Summary: A most enjoyable place to stay.

Positive: The room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We have visited in early summer, early autumn and in the cold seasonal weather of late November. The room was suitably cool and warm as appropriate to the season. Also very peaceful and close to the excellent tram service. Breakfast was always generous and varied with fresh yogurt, fruit salad, local bread and cheeses. Excellent coffee. Our hostess was always friendly and helpful.
Negative: We found everything fine.

Positive: Close to the Grenoble Institute of Neurosciences where I was attending a conference. About 500m walk across bridge over Isère river. Dominic the host was very helpful & attentive. The breakfasts were very good & I was grateful for her explanation of different local cheeses. & local foods. The room was comfortable with good shower & toilet facilities. I arrived from Lyon Airport to Grenoble via railway TGV. Dominic told me about Flix bus which was a cheaper option with hourly buses to & from Lyon Airport & Grenoble. From the central rail or nearby bus stations the tram B or tram D travels to a roundabout stop a 100-200m walk to the hotel. Near this roundabout there are a collection of food shops, restaurants & small supermarkets. The tram system was good & could be accessed at the roundabout stop here as well. In the hall just outside the room there is access to a microwave & small fridge with some complementary drinks & yogurts. One unusual feature was the guest entrance was at the rear of the property which was fine once that was explained. I co-ordinated my arrival with Dominic & my bag was taken to my room through the front of the house. Grenoble city is very flat & easy to walk about I suggest strolling along the river banks. I was here for work but did manage to visit a few museums & visit the Bastille via the bubble cable car. Overall I had a very pleasant 4 night stay & may return with my wife on a holiday, the room would be very comfortable for two. I would recommend for anyone attending a conference or collaboration at nearby hospital & University. Dominic does & excellent job as a host it felt like staying with a friend or relative. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Negative: I like a very dark room to sleep in especially when recovering from jet lag. There were net curtains on the main window. I would have preferred block out curtains for the morning.

Positive: Our double room was spacious, immaculately clean and peaceful. Breakfast was a delight; fresh fruit salad, home-made yogurt, tartelettes aux fruits, good local bread and cheeses, excellent coffee and more. We were well cared for by our unobtrusive but very helpful hostess. We enjoyed being close to good local transport. We hope to return and would definitely recommend.
Negative: No criticism. Everything was fine.

Positive: The place was lovely. The downside was the parking and the hassle taking the luggage upstairs even thought the host was very helpful. There was everything that you wanted in the room and more. there were drinks in the fridge to help yourself to. The breakfast was exceptional with homemade cake and jam and also yogurt and fresh fruit. It is a fantastic place even though the parking is a problem and you have to pay.
Negative: Carrying the luggage up a narrow staircase.
Summary: OWNER WAS VERY OBLIGING AND COULDNT DO ENOUGH.
