Summary: My husband and I just spent the most wonderful week of my life at Villa Carisa. Watching the clear blue seas waves breaking on the beautiful secluded beach while sipping a glass of wine while we lie by the pool has a lot going for it. The villa is tastefully furnished and situated in a private compound with round the clock security. Housekeeping and concierge service is perfect and quickly solve any problems before they arise. All the entertainment and nightlife are a short distance away, but still sufficiently far enough from the secluded bay to ensure your peace, tranquility and privacy. Listening to the sound of the sea 10 meters away, watching the sailboats glide by as the sunsets is hypnotically relaxing. We have never felt so renewed in both body and soul. We don’t want to go but we leave Villa Carisa with one thought in mind, we must come back.

Summary: The villa is GORGEOUS; completely renovated at the end of 2015. The decor is contemporary and up to date. Beds, furniture (inside and outside) are new and comfortable, kitchen well-equipped, full laundry room, and the house has everything a luxury villa on the beach should have including spacious family room, media room and an amazing outdoor pool/jacuzzi area with a full open but covered Gazebo and an amazing music system with speakers literally everywhere. The beach (Baie Rouge) is stunning and we would walk the entire shoreline each morning and often only saw one or two other people. This is on a calm bay with very few luxury houses on it and we thought we just walked into a postcard it's so beautiful. The villa is pretty much located in the center of the bay, and it's a beautiful walk at sunrise or sunset. At the end of one side of the beach their are two local beach restaurants where you can have some local seafood and drinks. There is really no reason to leave the house, but of course we did, and visited places on both the Dutch side and French side. Some of our favorites were Orient Bay, Marigot on the French side, and Mullet Bay, and Simpsons Bay on the Dutch side. We also ventured out on the 7 minute island hopper plane to Saint Barths for the day which was nice as it's a quaint small island. Next time we will do a day trip to Anguilla, another day option. The owner is quick to respond to any emails or calls and was very helpful. His villa has a housekeeper and maintenance person that come in to keep the place looking wonderful, but if you don't want them around for your trip that's fine too. We chose to have them as Cindy the housekeeper is very friendly, and took care of all of the cleaning, and even offered to do our laundry. The house also offers a Concierge team that are on the island that will cater to any requests, reservations or recommendations that you may need. We were met by Jessica, our concierge contact that met us at the airport and was available at all times to us. I would definitely recommend this property and we have already booked another trip for next year. This property is one of the top properties on Baie Rouge that rents out a lot, so you should book ahead. This is for us - the perfect vacation spot!

Summary: Don't bother looking anywhere else. Villa Carisa is by far the best place we've ever stayed in the Caribbean. The location relative to the local attractions, condition of the property and the overall setting are perfect! During our stay, the manager was very helpful in answering questions ranging from inquiries about the property to the best local restaurants. We've already re-booked for next year! Can't imagine a better experience for our Caribbean vacation. Enjoy!

Summary: Villa Carissa in St. Martin is spectacular! There are only 13 homes on this private beach. This is most definitely luxury at it's finest. The Villa has new furnishings and a state of the art music system with speakers all throughout the house, the pool, and even on the beach wall. It is a luxury 2 Master bedroom estate with a large family room, media room, full kitchen, phenomenal outside gazebo and most importantly on the beautiful Baie Rouge beach. I'm not sure when the house was built but it looks brand new. The pictures shown on HomeAway are exactly as the house is when I was there. Cindy, the housekeeper who comes in every day as required is super friendly and she keeps the place looking fantastic. We also had a full Concierge service at our disposal that helped with all of our reservations. Some of our favorite places were Kontiki Bar in Orient Bay, Sunset Beach where we had drinks and watched KLMs 747 fly over us before landing, and Kokomos on Sunday for Sunset. Villa Carissa in St. Martin is an amazing place and I truly recommend staying there.
