Positive: A quirky, luxury hotel that we will remember forever. Staying here feels like a little lakeside adventure with its hillside location. Richard, the hotel manager, is a joy! Full of stories and the warmest welcome. It's worth coming just to meet him. A small but perfectly formed pool, over looking the lake was a beautiful place to relax. We ate here for the two nights we stayed and had really wonderful meals. Staff were SOOoo friendly and helpful. We had a smaller room which was perfectly fine (very modern, every facility, and a nice view over the town rooves to the lake). Bigger options are available.
Negative: Accessibility... although staff do EVERYTHING possible to make this a minor issue.

Positive: We had a nice view from our room and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was ok with space for our toiletries. The pool is very nice and everyone in our group enjoyed the poolside menu. It does have parking and the phone number system to open the parking gate worked without any issues.
Negative: I didn't like the pillows at this hotel. It is mildly annoying getting from parking to the hotel. We had an upgraded room but there is a bathtub in front of the TV which made it impossible to connect my macbook to it.

Positive: As someone who never or rarely leaves a review I felt undeniably compelled to share how wonderful my experience was at villa clementina. My stay was brief but my experience of the time I was there could not have been better. The staff were so attentive and genuinely seemed to care about every detail. At dinner the chef, who was so fun, offered to make anything I wanted. My request was to please prepare whatever you think I would enjoy. The pasta dish presented was his personal favorite and it was just incredible. Hope to return soon as lake Como is breathtaking and I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay while there! Positive: There are so very many things to LOVE about Villa Clementina, starting with the property and it's unique positioning on the slope of a mountainside. One can simply breathe in the views and immediately reduce any stress experienced while driving through the narrow, winding roads en route to this lovely place to unwind! The rooms are impeccably clean and well organized, maximizing available space. The Chef prepares a tightly curated menu each evening and if you truly wish to chill there is no need to even leave the property to enjoy scrumptious meals served by a very caring staff. The owners are invested in your experience and are on property regularly. Can't leave a review without sharing the truly superb and effusive charm of dapper Richard, who heads the staff in providing such excellent service. A newsletter greats you each morning with a few facts about the area and the staff members who are serving you and maintain the property. The Villa sits just at the beginning of an 8 mile stretch of scenic views of the lake, so if you love to walk or run this Villa is a great choice. Can't say enough about this ensemble cast and how much they CARE about your time and experience with them!
Negative: Was truly nothing to dislike about the experience at Villa Clemintina! We were there for a wedding... and the "path" from the hotel to the parking garage can be tricky in heels. So let them know your comings/goings and they'll slip you into a golf cart to get you from Villa to parking! They have considered every detail and have you covered!
