Summary: The house and grounds are very spacious and Hanane prepared home baked breakfasts and delicious Moroccan evening meals each day. The house is a home from home. Charming and rustic - full of interesting features - but with a modern kitchen. Lovely pool and sun loungers for sunshine with plenty of shade for when it is too hot. The village is very rustic with few facilities and rough unpaved roads. However the locals are extremely friendly- we were even invited to join in a wedding party. 😁

Summary: We stayed for 7 nights in April. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Because of its location we hired a car and driving to the villa was not a problem. Spent a couple of days touring Marrakesh, spent rest of the time either relaxing at the pool or venturing out in High Atlas. Did a day trip to Essaouira, which was perfect. Delicious Moroccan breakfast every day with fresh orange juice was a delight. Has all the cooking utensils needed so we did cook some Moroccan stuff for an evening meal. Visited Asni, Imlil villages which are typical Berber villages. Plenty of outdoor activities to do one is interested. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Summary: We had a fantastic time at Dar Erka. We spent a week in mid-september and the weather was perfect - bright sunshine and 32C every day. The house is a good size for 8 people, and the bedrooms as vast. Hanane and her team were very accommodating and looks after us beautifully. The house is in the middle of a Berber village, so off the beaten track, but there is lots to do in the area. We did a couple of day trips to Marrakech, visited Kasbah Beldi and Beldi Country Club, Berber Lodge and Le Flouka - all good lunch/pool day trips. We also went quad biking and riding. All in all, I highly recommend the house and hope to return soon!

Summary: We stayed 4 nights in the beautiful house and enjoyed the excellent service of staff. We were three generations - the children enjoyed the swimming pool and we did, too. We all enjoyed the homemade breakfast and had three courses for dinner - the best food we have ever had in Marocco - to very reasonable prices. We went to Imlil and had a wonderful walk in the mountains through Berber villages with a mule for the children, and a fine tour to to the nearby lake with a good lakeshore restaurant and a local market. We had fine weather in mid April.
