Positive: Good location, spacious and cozy apartments with a barbecue facility.

Negative: But of course, all the positives are overshadowed by the host’s inadequate behavior. First of all, the person only speaks Serbian, Montenegrin luckily I know a bit of it too. Second, he reacts inappropriately to normal questions. When I just asked if there was heating in the apartment, he started complaining that I should have read about it on Booking. This was at the end of August nights in the north are already chilly, and some heating at night would be nice for comfort. Overall, it wasn’t that important to me, I was just asking - because in other apartments in Žabljak there had always been heating. Instead, he told me I was asking a stupid question about heating in August and asked why we came here at all, saying that people come here to cool down... Such an attitude to a simple question is inadequate and disrespectful. The man is also very sarcastic. Yes, he helped us with firewood, but again, he kept saying we were doing everything wrong and that we should only listen to him. Check other reviews as well - you will also find that he clearly does not respect guests’ boundaries and behaves unprofessionally. By the way, in September guests of these apartments also had to beg for a heater.

Positive: The surroundings were absolutely lovely, the apartment was cosy and spacious, the host was extremely friendly and willing to help. He even invited us for a drink in his house downstairs.

Negative: The bathroom was problematic. The toilet wouldn't flush properly and the shower was small and didn't have any glass or curtain so it was impossible to take a shower without splashing water all over the floor. That made the stay a bit uncomfortable. Were these 2 things to be fixed it would've been a 10/10 perfect stay.
