The villa is located on the sea in a seaside resort (Fontane Bianche), about 15 km from Syracuse. Provided with all comforts: air conditioning, heating, ADSL wifi and parabola (on sky card required).
E 'consists of a double bedroom, a twin bedroom (to be use as a double or even triple with bunk beds on request) with large closet, a living room with a bed (you can add another bed) and kitchen equipped (with fridge, gas stove, gas oven and electric, dishes, etc.), a bathroom, a bright dining room in a small enclosed porch with a glass-roof window with an adjoining dressing room with closet and storage room at the top, Laundry with external battery, toilet, washing machine and attached heated outdoor shower, a large veranda overlooking the garden. E 'it equipped with: hot and cold air-conditioning system and therefore habitable all year round, 20 Mb ADSL line and satellite dish for Sky. Near the veranda in the garden (250 square meters) near the well, there is a table, chairs, barbecue under a large umbrella.
The villa is situated in a quiet residential area, surrounded by a garden with a manicured lawn and a very high hedge that creates particular privacy and is well isolated from the streets which it borders. Ample parking in front of (private) also shaded for cars ,. In the immediate vicinity (300 meters) there are many shops: supermarket, bakery, delicatessen, food, newsagents, butchers, fruit and vegetables, Sandwiches, distributor with a bar and a small church for Mass weekend. A few meters away are: a bus stop with bus shelter linking Fontane Bianche and Syracuse every 30 minutes and a train station with a train that links with Siracusa, Noto and Pachino.
The sea area of โ€‹โ€‹Fontane Bianche has a long beach of fine white sand and crystal clear sea with beaches and beaches reachable on foot (about 650 m) and a small cliff with golfetti, platforms and Sun in the immediate vicinity (about 600 m).
Nearby there are pizzerias, bars, restaurants, a pharmacy and a church with parking.

Summary: Abbiamo trascorso due mesi in questa casa e esplorato Sicilia. Tutto il necessario รจ stato fornito. Altamente raccomandato. The owner made renting this house so easy that part of me wondered what we would find. When we arrived at the house my first reaction was, "This can't be the house. It's too nice for how little we paid". The owner met us at the house when we arrived. He spoke some English, so our basic Italian was enough. The garden is nicely landscaped and the house is small but nicely and completely appointed. Our group rented three houses in March and April. This was the only one that had no surprises. Everything we needed was provided -- hand soap, dish soap, laundry soap, bath towels, paper towels, trash bags, the owner thought of everything. Even a hair dryer, perfume, and insect repellant. The owner was so kind to us and treated us like family, helping answer every concern, bringing us a bag of local oranges, recommeing places to see and eat, and making sure we had what we needed. I had to work on-line and the Internet was sporadic at first. The owner called the telecom and even had them install upgraded equipment at his expense. I have often had Internet issues at hotels and houses and usually people just shrug their shoulders, but this man really cared. I learnt that Sicily generally does not have good Internet because it is mostly wireless backhaul, but this house now has the most reliable and fastest Internet of any place we visited during our stay. So if you need to work on-line while there then this is the house you want to rent. Patio furniture was high-quality metal, not plastic like some places. The TVs were modest, but who goes to Sicily to watch TV? I came here to enjoy the climate and food. He gave us some water and local oranges when we arrived and even provided an electric espresso machine -- nobody else gives you more than a stop-top pot, which is fine, but I was able to have a capuccino each morning! :-) I was able to sit in the yard and work on my computer while listening to a variety of bird songs which we never hear in Canada. It was so peaceful, a little bit of paradise that was hard to leave at the end of April. Beds were all comfortable, which you don't always find in Italy. Even the sofa-bed was comfortable. We look forward to returning and renting this house. I highly recommend this rental. Grazie tante, Gabriele.
