Summary: We spent 6 nights at this hotel and the power went off at least once a day, usually in the evening/nighttime. This isn't the fault of the hotel, but is something bare in mind, especially as it is very warm there and the air conditioning stopped working. The people at the hotel were always there to help and the breakfast ($5) and dinner ($6) were well-priced and very good. There was always somebody around who talked to you. However, our not knowing a lot of Spanish was a hindrance. There was a nice table for sitting outside with a beautiful view of the mountains. The WIFI was free, but we had to ask for them to log it in every time and it was time limited - so I would recommend bringing your own ETECSA card.
