Positive: A wonderful escape into prior centuries with the luxury of modern years. Giovanni was incredibly helpful - using a translation app - to provide background about the house and its history, helped us around, and made us feel home. The house is a WOW in every room, restored with lots of love und passion for detail. A unique stay and treat for us after 10 days of hiking on the Alta Via 1.

Positive: Staying in this extraordinary house was one of the best parts of our trip. When I booked this, I could not quite believe that this property was available at this price, but it lived up to our very high expectations. Giovanni was an extremely gracious host (even when we left later than expected and showed up after 10PM), and is justifiably proud of the hard work his family has put into the restoration.

Negative: Our only complaints: The beds were not the most comfortable we have had, and the kitchen is on the small side and has no oven. I would advise against staying here with small children.

Positive: Stunning 14th century building with genuine 16 century furniture and surrounding with the 21st century comfort. We spent there 3 unforgettable days surrounded with magnificent Dolomites. Host Giovanni was a pleasure to meet, did all and above for our stay to be perfect.
