Positive: Niche market boutique hotel with 5 exquisite rooms that have an amazing view of the ocean. Having a small number of rooms allows the staff and owner Chris to focus on exceptionally attentive service to its guests. The restaurant and bar are adjacent to the pool and the breakfast was fabulous. I liked that it was a mile or so out of town. It was only a 25 minute walk to town or $8 taxi ride.

Negative: I’m not a big drinker but if they had a larger selection of tequila or other alcohol I may have imbibed.

Summary: Attentive, Relaxing, Picturesque, Clean, Enjoyable and Yum Ceviche!

Positive: Absolute gem. Fantastic holiday home, gorgeously decorated with an eye for detail. Pool is a stunner, particularly at night and during the sunset. Probably the best breakfast during our entire stay both in Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Chris, the host, makes you feel at home immediately, is highly welcoming and knowledgable about things to do. Would also go above and beyond if you need something.

Negative: Absolutely nothing. Would go again anytime.

Positive: We loved our stay at Villa Francia! This place is absolutely amazing! <3 The rooms are modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean and the view from our room was beautiful. The food is also incredibly good, one highlight was the fantastic breakfast with fresh fruits, juice, home made crepes, croissants and so much more. Everyone was so warm, incredibly welcoming, and helpful - we cannot recommend this place enough and would love to come back soon! :)

Positive: Needed a comfortable place to rest during my quick weekend stay in San Juan and Villa Francia was perfect. The room is very nice and breakfast was delicious! I enjoyed my stay, would come back again.

Negative: I think a sign pointing to the direction of the hotel right before driving up would be nice. We were a little skeptical at first if the gps was making us turn into the right direction. I think a sign would be helpful to those not familiar with the area.
