Summary: We enjoyed our stay in villa Fuma, Emil and Luiza are great, very helpful, maintaining a well furnished house, combining old Allura and modern provision. They are open for all questions, regularly cleaning the big swimming pool. Location is ideal, pretty quiet but not far from cities like Porec, Rovinj and Vrsar. We will definitely come again in de future

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Fuma. The BBQ area was nice to sit and relax in the evenings. The swimming pool was great for our 3 kids in the age of 7, 5 and 3 years old. The house was fully equipped, including a washing machine and everything was very clean. Emil and Branka did a great job! If we would visit Istria again, we definately consider this house. PS For everyone visiting Istria, keep in mind that it is really busy at the border during Summer. It took us 2 hours.

Summary: We arrived at 4 PM like arranged, and everything was ready by then. The host were super friendly, Explained everything in detail and took their time to answer all our questions. They even had a bottle of wine as a present for us which we enjoyed the warm evenings. We were a family of five, our kids were 11, 9 and 8 Years old and there was plenty of space for everyone. I would recommend this to families and am strongly considering to come back again next year.

Summary: Where do we begin? We had a late flight and arrived to the villa 12.30 am. We were met there by the owners Emil and his wife. They were very friendly and helpful showing us around (even at that late hour). They had even bought us some groceries to get started. The property was immaculate. We used it as our base to visit the various beautiful sea towns of Vrsar, Rovinj and Pula. The pool is very private and a great outdoor eating area with barbeque awaits. Property is in 3 apartments each with own bathroom and kitchen. There is also a large separate kitchen well stocked with utensils and appliances. You most certainly need transport. This property allows you to holiday as a group with the added advantage of a little privacy if required in the form of the separate appartments. This property is perfect for families even with grandparents coming along. A 35 minute drive from PULA city and airport brings you this sleepy peaceful oasis from which you can base yourselves to see this beautiful unspoilt countryside. The pool was cleaned twice over our 2 week stay and the property was cleaned midway through our holiday with fresh bed linen and towels. We ourselves have experience in hosting foreign tourists to our own home and would be well versed as to what makes a good host and good accommodation . We would have no hesitation in recommending this property for rental. The only regret we have is sharing this beautiful property with all of you 😊 Cunningham Family Dublin Ireland

Summary: What can we say, other than thank you? Villa Fuma was the most amazing base for our family holiday this summer. Throughout the booking process, Luiza was nothing but helpful and approachable. Arriving at the villa, Emil was brilliant and gave us a grand tour around the property, despite our late arrival. The pictures really don't do the villa justice - the size of the property and grounds are amazing. The pool is incredibly private and spacious. The rooms themselves were roomy, and spotlessly clean. We also really appreciated the well tocked kitchen and barbecue area. Considering we were a family of 6 adults (2 parents, and 2 adult children with their partners), we didn't feel at all on top of each other. There is always a separate balcony or area of the garden to retreat to if desired. The location is also brilliant for accessing the whole of Istria: we visited Vrsar, Rovinj, Porec, the Baredine caves, the Lim canal and Pula all in one week and yet we never drove for more than 40minutes. The only downside of the location is the lack of restaurant within walking distance, but we knew that when we booked. The weigh up is the vast amount of privacy you gain from a quite location. Emil recommended the fantastic Konoba Gradina, a ten minute drive from the property. Really wonderful food and atmosphere, we went twice. Definitely recommend booking though, it's the most popular restaurant in the area! Also take away pizza from the pizzeria in Sveti Lorec is worth trying. You will need a car for this villa, though bikes are provided for your use. If we return to Istria we would definitely look to stay here again and have recommended the villa to our friends and family. Thank you so much to the Modrusan family for making our holiday a wonderful one.

Summary: Lovely and immaculate spacious villa. Excellent pool and BBQ area. Well placed for access to Pula and other interesting places. Emil and family were very hospitable. The villa was extremely well-equipped. Good restaurant nearby.

Summary: Never been to Croatia before, heard great things about it from friends, so we as a family of 5 and 2 Grandparents took the plunge. Wow, just wow. What a lovely country and people. The Villa was perfect, so cleverly set out, spotlessly clean, air con in every room, with a fridge and a hob too! Everything you need and more. The pool was heavenly and my two young boys went from being non swimmers at the beginning of the week to thinking about Japan 2020 by the end! Safe, clean and very private. The location was no more than 25 minutes from the most beautiful towns and beaches. The food was fantastic everywhere we went. (Pizzaria and a great open air hog roast, 5 mins away) We will be going back to Villa Fuma and the family that run it could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Just a wonderful, wonderful holiday. Mr Bearne and family.

Summary: We were lucky enough to spend one week at Villa Fuma and we could not have asked for a more perfect setting. The villa itself, is well equipped, nothing has been over looked, it is very clean, very easy to live in and has a wonderful outside area to eat in and BBQ,. The pool area is spacious and private. The layout of the villa worked well for us with 3 teenagers in tow, all had their own space and mercifully so did we !! The Modrusan family are charming and hospitable, nothing is too much trouble for them and they are rightly proud of their lovely villa...it shines through. would we return here ?.......oh YES .... in a heart beat. A huge thank you to Luiza and her lovely family.....see you soon ! Hettie and Family
