Positive: We had a beautiful 6 nights at Il Fedino. The villa itself is magical with history and furnishings while retaining an authentic feel. The breakfast was a highlight with carefully prepared local ingredients. Best was the hospitality with a family who have been in the Villa for generations and have the best advice and passion for the region.
Negative: Nothing- it was perfect for us.

Positive: This was the perfect stay halfway through our Italy adventure to relax and reset. The staff, especially Lorenzo, were very friendly, attentive and welcoming. Our daughter was unwell, and they went out of their way to help. Rooms are lovely and spacious, pool was beautiful, breakfast was amazing, cooking class was fun. Great location, only 5-minute walk to town which had great restaurants.

Positive: It’s peaceful, family run, kind staff, very nice villa.
Negative: The rooms are very dark and the bathroom was very old and noisy. The room also had an automatic light that would turn on when someone passed by, unable to shut off. As it’s also an old villa, noises from rooms above resonate a lot in lower rooms.

Positive: Everyone was so nice and made everything feel really easy. Lorenzo was especially great! He reached out before I even got to Florence, helped me get to the hotel without any stress, and then checked in with recommendations both for my stay in San Casciano and later when I went back to Florence for a few days. One of the places he suggested actually ended up being one of my favorite spots from the whole trip, which was so great. The hotel was beautiful, the location couldn’t have been better, breakfast was honestly the best I had in Italy, and the pool was perfect. It all felt really thoughtful and welcoming.
