Positive: We (5 people) stayed at this location on July 12-19, 2025. The venue is absolutely stunning, on top of a hill surrounding the Montopoli & San Romano area. The infinity pool is a blast, and watching the sunset over the hills while enjoying bites on the terrace between the vineyard and olive trees feels like heaven. Elisa and her father Sergio are great hosts, we received home-made wine and olive oil and they are always ready to answer questions or provide assistance when needed. The house is a charm with all the utilities you need for a relaxing vacation. From the house it's about or less than an hour to drive to Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio and San Gimignano which we visited that week. Nothing better than coming back from our day trips and cool down in the pool and then making dinner with fresh ingredients from the Conad supermarket (8min driving from the house) or enjoy a ristorante/trattoria/pizzeria nearby. The three bedrooms (each with kingsize double beds) and two bathrooms are very comfy and there is more than enough closet space for the clothes, we loved the authentic wooden cabinets that complement the traditional charm of the house. The house is well insulated against the hot weather when you keep the windows closed to keep the heat outside, it was a normal 30°C outside during the day and it cooled down to 20°C at night so we slept with the window tilted open and opened everything up in the early morning. All in all it was a fantastic week!

Positive: The villa was well equipped with comfortable beds. The pool was immaculately clean and much bigger and warmer than we expected. Outdoor barbecue area was rustic and charming. The olive grove and vineyards were a beautiful sanctuary for walks with our dog. We even saw wild bore one evening. The villa was well situated for trips out into the Tuscan countryside. We visited Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano and Lari and loved them all.
Negative: The only thing we noticed was the rotten food smell under the sink. I cleaned it thoroughly but that seemed to make no difference.
Summary: Fantastic accommodation. Pool area was gorgeous

Positive: Beautiful and quiet location surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. Terrace and pool has a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside. The house is equipped with all we needed. Everything was perfectly organized by Elisa, who provided us with the necessary information and answered all our questions. Our second host Sergio, took care of handing over the keys and provided us with perfect care during the entire stay. This is one of those places where you say you have to come back again :)
