Positive: If you want tranquille beautiful welcoming place with heaven sent breakfast please give it a try we came during monsoon season and still enjoyed the pool the decor is simply Amazon with a strong europeen flair and comfort even y single touch feom the homemade fresh bread in morning to the soap in bathroom and linens gorgeous pool and garden we were so happy to visit

Positive: Understand luxury with a very relaxed vibe. The host, Ajay and his crew were extremely warm and welcoming and were completely focused on ensuring their guests had a wonderful experience. We stayed in the top floor room which had a massive balcony with excellent sea views. The Villa is also located in a quiet lane on the South Cliff, away from the more crowded and commercial North Cliff. The historic Janardhanaswamy Temple is also just a short walk down the road and the beach, under a 7-8 minute stroll!

Negative: I liked pretty much everything. Of course, if you are expecting a large screen TV in your bedroom you will be disappointed, but then again this property caters to a different crowd that is looking for peace, quiet and understated ambience.

Summary: One of the best home stays in Varkala for a long or short stay!

Positive: We had a lovely 4 night stay at Villa Jacaranda, the villa is on the south side of Varkala so away from the hustle and bustle of north cliff. We really enjoyed using the pool to cool off in after a day of exploring, Ajay recommended a few good spots to eat and we also had food at the Vila one night which was excellent and we would really recommend this! The villa is really nicely decorated, and is a lovely calm spot to spend a few days relaxing! Ajay and the team were really lovely and made us feel very welcome!

Positive: What a wonderful and special place to stay in Varkala. Superbly located on south cliff, Villa Jacaranda is an oasis of serenity and style with every design detail thoughtfully curated. The room, the terrace and the garden are beautiful. Breakfast served on our private terrace was healthy and delicious. You must have dinner whilst here - the vegetarian banquet is a feast of many dishes, at the standard of a tasting menu at the best restaurant! What a treat.
