Positive: Absolutely stunning property, better than the photos! The building is great, in a perfect location just 10 minutes from Rethymo Old Town, and less than ten minutes from a supermarket, but far enough out that it’s still quiet and private. The quality of the furnishings and appliances is second-to-none, amazing interior design in every area, and every kitchen appliance you could need. A lot of money has obviously been spent on this villa and it certainly shows (very comfortable sunbeds)! Emmanouela and her team were amazing, easy to contact, and very accommodating.
Negative: Nothing to dislike!
Summary: Stunning villa in a great location, hosted by a great team.

Positive: The whole experience was beyond our expectations! The villa is luxurious but also incredibly comfortable and the grounds added to our enjoyment. We picked fresh fruit every morning and vegetables from the garden for our dinners at night. Our host Emmanouela could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. She was always available to answer questions and made sure we had everything we needed. She provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities. The location of the Villa made it manageable for us to explore the entire island of Crete.
Negative: Although the villa is less than 4 miles from old town Rethynmo which is a wonderful area along the beach with shopping and restaurants we were disappointed to realize that its not really practical to walk due to busy steep windy roads. However it was a quick and easy drive and we had no trouble parking. In general we found the driving on Crete to be a bit nerve-racking in that the roads are incredibly windy running right up along steep cliffsides and the locals drive fast and have no problem trying to pass even in areas that seem unsafe.
Summary: Overall a dream vacation and I would highly recommend Villa Lime

Positive: We spent several weeks and many hours looking for a place like Villa Lime, and the villa lived up to our high expectations. The hostesses did an amazing job, they welcomed us as family and provided us with information and help whenever we needed it. We were even given a tasteful meal by the mother of the hostesses who are actually sisters. The moussaka was really good and we had it for lunch two days in a row. The Villa had all the facilities that we were looking for. Lovely rooms for all 6 couples, an inside and outside pool, an outdoor pizza oven, a huge garden with olive trees and lemon trees and lots of space to relax or just to admire the nice view from the villa. The indoor kitchen was spacious and we had no problem cooking for 11 people. The Villa was clean and if we needed extra towels the hostesses came by with new ones in just 5 minutes. We had high expectations for our trip, but Villa Lime was even better than we hoped. We have already decided that we are definitely coming back!
Negative: We loved everything about our stay.
Summary: 10/10, must visit if you plan a trip to Crete with family or friends.
