Positive: The views from the villa were fantastic. It is situated 619 meter above see level and has 270 degree views of the sea , mountains , farmland and countryside. It is very quiet and peaceful and private and far enough away from other villas to always be so. The cleanliness was excellent . The inside of the property was in very good condition and well decorated with wall art. The kitchen had all the facilities needed including washing machine ( in bathroom) , dishwasher , microwave,oven , senso coffee maker.The toaster is the only thing that needs replacing. Perfect size kitchen. Thomas was pleasant.to chat to via whatsapp. The breeze kept the mosquito's away and the air conditioning worked well in all rooms. The outside space is suited to maybe 4 / 5 people.
Negative: I was very ill for 5 days, with vomiting and diarrhea. This was after swimming in the pool for two days. Their were no chlorine tablets in the pool and so i contacted Thomas to ask when the pool cleaning would be done . He told me Wednesday and Saturday. This did not happen. I contacted Thomas again and finally someone came on the Monday (we missed him as we needed shopping. So finally chlorine was added 9 days after our arrival. To add to this problem , the seating in the living room was very uncomfortable. There are 4 rattan garden chairs with old thin cushions which have had bath towels added to cover them. So when i was ill i could not find comfort and had to spend 4/5 days lying in bed away from my wife. I know that people intend to spend their holiday mostly outside , but you need comfort inside as well. The outdoor seating was basic plastic chairs and sunbeds with out any cushions. There was a rattan set outside the living room but again very thin cushions with bath towels covering them. So not comfortable! I contacted Thomas on the first day to inform him that the pool light was not working and that 7 other outside lights were also not working. this included two lights above the pool which would have made the pool beautiful, and two lights on the bedroom balconies. Thomas informed me that the electrician had been contacted but no one came and later Thomas told me that is normal in Spain. Inside shower leaked through door as does not close in the center (see picture). The mattresses were ok but the slatted base is very noisy. There is no double bed , only single beds pushed together. There is a downstairs area with 4 beds, but this is accessed by 12 or more external steps . The description only mentions two bathrooms and one kitchen which are on the top level, guests in this bottom area would have to come up to the top level to use them.
Summary: Could be excellent, but needs work

Positive: The villa itself was amazing! Clean and comfortable, with the most amazing views. Pool was a dream! The perfect holiday Villa. The owner was always very quick to respond to questions and always very friendly.
