Positive: We had a wonderful stay here while visiting the cave temples, elephant migration and sigira rock. This is a true hidden gem…with just 4 chalets spotted around a mango farm, with a lovely central pool. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to help up us. Whenever we went to the pool towels and water were immediately bought to us, and they happily served us incredible fruit platters when requested (at no additional charge). The manager was really helpful in sorting out transport for us, and advising about the best way to do things, and Anula (the cook) was absolutely fantastic - serving up delicious food every night and delighting in our enjoyment of it. As a family it was wonderful to have a central area between the two rooms with a fridge and sink (and even a stove - but no cooking equipment). We were able to keep drinks and food cold and fresh, and we had somewhere to sit together in the evenings to play games and chat.
Negative: Being an eco-resort the hotel does not currently have any drinks available other than water (because they don’t want to use plastic). This just meant we had to buy drinks and keep them in our fridge to drink as wished. On the upside I’m sure this saved us money!
Summary: Fantastic stay in a beautiful mango farm with hugely attentive and accommodating staff who were always available to help

Positive: A great place to hangout, spend a weekend with family or even have a day out. The staff is courteous, the food is out of this world the ambience and the atmosphere is very eco friendly, a very unique experience for anyone wanting a get away.

Positive: Set in beautiful grounds, the property is fantastic. Room is very spacious and comfortable, staff are amazing and the home-cooked food, made to order is to die for. Pool is very clean and perfect to refresh at the end of the day.
Negative: No beverage license yet but we brought our own.

Positive: We spent the night in a lovely place and stayed in a chalet that was private and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly, and Nalin was especially helpful with everything we needed. The location is peaceful and quiet, away from busy areas, so we drove to get there. During the day, you can spot some monkeys around. We added breakfast to our stay, and it was tasty and filling, with a Sri Lankan-style omelette, different seasonal fruits, and juice. Since I wasn’t feeling well, I asked for ginger tea, and they were nice enough to make it for me.
Negative: There were a couple of downsides, though. Since it’s a farmhouse, you might see geckos in the room, so you should be prepared if that bothers you. Also, in the middle of the night, around 4:30 AM, we woke up because our door was shaking. We found out later it was a dog causing it.
Summary: Overall, it was a nice stay, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
