DOWNSTAIRS awe may rent separately the large 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment with its own private entrance and its very own large kitchen, dining room, large flat screen TV room area, 2 large day-beds.

Feel the tropical breezes, fish from the two docks (45 feet and 15 foot docks), boat ramp, and totally fenced in, bbq's, and fire pit sitting area. and On the main canal and only 2 minutes open water, beaches, kayaking, swimming of the dock, fishing and diving (no bridges). World famous Looe Key Reef is only 10 minutes away by boat or tour boat available on the island. In minutes you can be in the Atlantic or Gulf. Easy access to deep water, bay or flats fishing.
This classic Caribbean home is fully designer furnished, so just bring your toothbrush and your bathing suit. Perfect docks for large and small boats, walk around sunset porch, and there is even a mini-beach.
Carefree living includes: Flat Screen TV's, Surround Sound Stereo, cable TV, wifi, internet, fish cleaning table, pest control and yard maint. Home has New roof, new docks, new flooring, new furniture, new appliances and 2 new Central A/C Units and two kayak for your use.
The home, is composed of two separate units a 3/1 upstairs sleeps six ( two queen beds a full and two day beds) large dinning room, breakfast area, large TV room and sitting - office area and we can separately rent the huge 1/1 sleeps 2 and downstairs living quarters, that's also new with a huge bathroom, TV area, dining area and large new kitchen with a Huge Queen Bed.
UPSTAIRS we have an all new 3 bedrooms 1 bath, water view, large kitchen, dining tv room, family room, A/C and 3 full sized day-beds and views of the water, bird sanctuary and tropical mangroves.
DOWNSTAIRS ( rented separately) we have huge newly built 1 large bedroom, 1 large bath, water view, with its own separate entrance, kitchen, dinning , TV room, living room, central A/C and 2 full sized day-beds . The Home has a laundry area and extra heated shower downstairs.

Quick access to open waters where you'll find great fishing and diving in all directions. Less than 20 mile drive to Old Town Historic Key West with Restaurants, entertainment, and shopping nearby. Biking distance to the Conch Bus so you can spend the day in Key West and save the drive!
The house even has it own boat ramp, kayak and mini beach. We can arrange for a boat and kayak rentals to be taken to the house, fishing charters ( back country, gulf, diving or flats fishing), and boat captains.

Summary: Having enjoyed traveling the length of the Keys near about every one of the past 45 years, I have never really had a chance to really experience the Keys as I did from this unique property. Unlike the typical hotel environment, this cozy villa made me feel at home. The decor is "island time", fully equipped and the perfect distance from great beaches, one-of-a-kind restaurants and "watering holes", and the inimitable Key West. Take a short walk to the Looe key bar and I promise you leave with an unforgettable memory and a smile on your face! Can't wait to do this again.

Summary: My mother, my brother and his fiance and I stayed in lovely Villa Marquesa for 1 month. The view from the balcony was so nice to wake up to each morning. The villa had all the necessities supplied including beach towels and chairs, the villa is ideal for rest and relaxation. The owner gave us great tips on where to shop and eat. Take his advise and go wherever he said! We rented a boat locally this year to do some fishing, hoping to get something on the grill. Three hours later, we had caught Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, and even a surprise Sailfish. A lifetime memory for all. I write this review with some hesitation as I would like to keep this pearl of the keys a secret for family and friends. Success is a vacation where everyone in the family gets what they want and come home with a smile. This is truly a very special place. Mom also wants to know when we are going back. Please do not sit in my favorite chair out by the dock!

Summary: I spent the month of January 2015 at Villa Marquesa in this beautiful house, and every day was like being in paradise. If one does nothing but sit on the lanai and gaze at the blue/green waters it's a great day. The proximity to Key West and other Lower Keys makes it a fantastic place to stay for many options from fishing to photography. I used it as a base for birding and photography trips, and shopping and dining in Key West of course, and the location was perfect. The amenities were fine, and the owner very responsive to any questions and/or recommendations. I would highly recommend this house for your vacation. The only problem was that I needed to be there much longer! It was wonderful. We loved this house. It has beautiful views. We were able to enjoy both the sunset and sunrise both over the water from the house. The house was all new inside, very nice, beach type décor, nice furnishings. Also a large balcony with plenty of comfortable furniture to enjoy the view. Hope to return to Villa Marquesa as soon as we can, it will soon be a family reunion tradition.

Summary: Villa Marquesa is a great  home with a wonderful view of the water from the  balcony. The home was nicely furnished. The home was very nicely outfitted and the liked the outside Grill. There is a downstairs big one bed room apartment  was perfect for the extended family with a view of the water. The neighbors were very friendly during our stay they even took us out fishing . Everything worked great with the exception of a small electrical problem which the owners had promptly repaired. This house is located midway between Big Pine Key and Key West and we visited those areas several times. We want to thank the owner Miguel  for sharing their home with for the month of April 2015 Jonathan Meineke and family April 2015
