Layout
Two steps up from the parking area you will enter the open plan living room and kitchen. On this level, you will also find a bedroom and adjacent bathroom. Via this bedroom, you can access the storage room below the staircase to tuck away large suitcases.
The folding and sliding doors allow you to extend the living space and move freely between the terrace and open plan kitchen area. The 8 meters long infinity pool tempts you of getting a new profile picture.
At the end of 2021, we extended the terrace and added a wall separating the parking area and terrace which provides an extra level of privacy.
On the second floor, there are two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and connected balconies.
The well-equipped gym is located a few steps up from the parking area and is shared with the guests in the upper villa.
Your Stay
During your stay at Villa Melo, we can provide daily housekeeping. Linen and towels are changed every 3-4 days.
We can arrange massages, meals prepared by a Thai chef in the villa and organise tours.
I live in an apartment below the lower Villa Melo myself, and I will do my best to ensure you are having a wonderful time on Koh Samui. I am happy to give you tips about what to discover on this beautiful island!
Location
Nestled away in the jungle yet very close to the beaches and the hustle and bustle of Chaweng Villa Melo offers a premium location for the independent traveller. Summary: The communication with Moritz pre-holiday was clear and reassuring, we were met at the airport and transported to the paradise that the villa is located in. The villa itself is utterly beautiful, immaculate and has everything you could possibly need. The TV projector screen and infinity pool were big hits. The view from the terrace and balcony is just beautiful. It’s a short distance from the gorgeous local beaches, which Pi Dum cheerfully drove us to when we wanted to visit. We hired a car for a few days to explore the island. Moritz organised this for us and made it a very smooth experience. The local resorts of Chaweng and Fishernen’s Village are well worth a visit for vibrant nightlife and restaurants. We loved every moment of our visit, and can’t thank Moritz and Pleng enough for their incredibly welcoming hospitality. A perfect break in a perfect place.

Summary: I cannot recommend this villa enough! Such an amazing location and as for the view... It's beyond stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed 11 very relaxing nights at the villa which has been fitted and finished off to a very high standard. Moritz has thought of everything and was the perfect host. We were there at the start of the Coronavirus shut down so when we had issues with our return flights I asked Moritz for help. He didn't hesitate in coming up to the villa with his laptop to help us in getting new flights booked which was a huge help and greatly appreciated. Do not hesitate in booking this villa, it's truly fantastic and if its your first time on koh samui you will fall in love with both the villa and the island and you will be sure to return!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at Villa Melo. The villa was very clean, spacious for our family of four. Location was great as we were able to get to town in 5 minutes. Several nice beaches were basically down the hills from the neighborhood. The views are just fantastic. We got caught in the tropical storm for one day, but Moritz and Tee made us food and took great care of our family. Moritz was so wonderful, he gave great suggestions on restaurants, things to do, set up taxi along with car rental, he and was always available for any questions. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful villa with us. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Koh Samui.
