Positive: The location was fantastic. Villa was very spacious, clean, bright and airy, with all the amenities to cook if you desire. Large balcony looking out to the sea. The villa is an entire unit built on the second floor, with a private entrance and a wide staircase. The neighbourhood is very peaceful. The hosts were a lovely couple who met us at the property to hand over keys and help us with any queries and very generously left us with some treats. Only a 10 minute walk into the village of Marzamemi - what a gorgeous place with a lot of good eating options. Quaint square that comes alive at night.

Negative: We found the unit hard to locate. If you use the "Get Directions" on the Booking.com app it takes you to the road running parallel along the coast. Just be aware that the location of the unit is actually up a side street about 150m. The unit still has great views, it's just not directly on the beach.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this villa. Close to the beach and only a 10 minute walk into town.

Positive: Very spacious apartment in a quite area just in front of the beach. It has 2 terraces with beautiful views. Kitchen with all the necessary you need to prepare your meals. Our lovely host Giuliana greeted us with bakery goods from the area and lemons and tomatoes from their garden, really sweet gesture. Parking spot inside the gate made it very easy and safe with the car. Marzamemi town is just a short walk along the coast.

Summary: I wish I could have stayed longer :)

Positive: The vicinity as it was on the first floor and overlooked the sea. It had three balconies which were nice. Lovely large sunshade. Walk to the beach and to the village of Marzamemi was easy and flat. Appliances were fine. Beds were comfortable. It was nice and airy and had nets on all the windows to keep out flies. Plenty of hot water.

Negative: A bit short on glasses and bowls. Would have liked another shower as the utility room with toilet was classed as a bathroom.

Positive: The apartment is really beautiful and spotless, and it was spacious for our family which included two teenagers. It had everything we needed and was an oasis that we enjoyed spending time in and found difficult to leave. The balconies both have sea views. The beach is 3 minutes on foot and the walk into the centre is pleasant. The host, Giuliana, couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. We definitely hope to return for a longer stay.
