Positive: The outdoor space for a 2 bedroom villa was fantastic with plenty of shade as well. The outdoor seating was also very comfortable. 5 minutes walk to the an idyllic beach with soft white sand. The hosts took time to welcome us and gave restaurant recommendations. They were also very accommodating in letting us check out later as we had a late flight home

Positive: This house is an amazing place. Very well furnished, with all the required amenities and kitchen equipment. The host even pays attention to such details as providing an anti-mosquito device, candles in the garden, extra comfortable garden sets, etc. The house has a private garden which is well isolated from the neighbours and has an outdoor shower. This is really great in the summertime, to be honest we never used the bathroom shower :) The air conditioning is working well and is present in each room. The host is very friendly and helpful. There was not a single thing we missed during our stay... really perfect!

Positive: The rooms were comfortable with air-con in all spaces (apart from bathroom). Plenty of wardrobe space and the kitchen had a large freezer and Fridge space which was great. Netflix was also available on the TV in the lounge. The size of the lounge/dinner/3rd bedroom was modest but functional. Parking was very good with the car behind electronic security gates and adjacent to the property within view from the windows. It is located a little away from the main road so is not affected by the road traffic. Assistance from the hosts was very good both by phone and with visits when required. Outside space was vast with plenty of seating for dining and a separate area for lounging. Had a few issues with wasps outside so you need to purchase some candles. Basketball ring and ball was also good fun. Outdoor shower and washing areas useful after returning from the beach. Access to the beach is down a road and up the main road, total time between 5 to 10 mins. The beach beds seemed to be a fixed price across the beach at around 40 euros for the first row for 2 'letti' (July/Aug). There are some public spaces but you need to turn up around 9 or 10am to secure a decent spot. Shopping wise, there is limited parking in the little town itself but about 10 minute walk to the main restaurant (La Capannina) which is recommended, but please see reviews on Google. The shopping is best in the next town south Avola where there is also a Lidl (15 mins drive). Your not that far away from Siracusa and the Archimedes Shopping Centre, about 20/30mins drive away.
Negative: There was a bit of loud music coming from the other hotels late at night but really with the windows closed due to the A/C it wasn't a problem as such.
