Positive: Breakfast was delivered each morning in a picnic basket with our special preferences. It was wonderful. There is also a full kitchen in the property, as well as washer and dryer. The host exceeded our expectations in every single way. He even drove us to the ferry launch the day we had to leave. He went above and beyond!

Positive: Villa Pauletta is a gem. It is a very quaint apartment. It has a backyard & has an outdoor seating where we had our breakfast every morning & it was amazing. Yes, the apartment comes with daily breakfast & it has an extensive menu! It is definitely a plus! There is also an indoor "mini spa area" it is a small, heated pool which you can use, after a day of walking. You can also enjoy a glass of wine at the same time. Tomi (the super helpful owner) provides a bottle of wine upon check in! At check in, Tomi will greet you & bring you to the apartment. He shares loads of info about Split & where we can go to etc. When we were checking out, he came & helped us load our bags into the car. Such a sweet soul! You need to come & experience Tomi's hospitality & the apartment yourself.

Negative: it is not a deal breaker for us but if you have old folks or very young children, the steep stairway can be a bit challenging.

Positive: Beautiful villa in a great location short walk into old town. Villa was immaculately presented, and we were greeted on arrival with a selection of food and a bottle of wine. Villa was very comfortable, and we were also treated to lovely breakfast each morning presented in hamper which we were not expecting to be included when booked. We made good use of complimentary bikes on multiple occasions. Host kept in touch throughout stay to make sure everything was OK and we had everything we needed. This included setting up outdoor cinema for us and popcorn which was great. Host also organised very reasonable airport taxi transfer. Highly recommend this Villa.

Negative: Nothing - a lovely place to stay and an excellent host

Positive: An utterly fantastic property, superbly situated, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need - what makes this the best all-round home we have ever stayed in though, was the host, Tomi, and all the little extras they offer. We were due to arrive early, no problem, they were happy to take our bags and show us round the old town whilst the property was prepared, so kind and interesting. The breakfast that is delivered to your door each morning is simply stunning, not only in taste, but in the beautiful presentation. A wonderful all-round experience that we would highly recommend to everyone.

Positive: Couldn't have asked for a better stay than what we got. Villa itself was fantastic and plenty of space for 4 of us comfortably, the pool and the terrace were great additions in the heat. Couldn't possible say a bad word about the gents who run it either. Tomi was more than happy to help with anything and everything we needed, had suggestions picked out for us before we got there and was one of the friendliest hosts ive ever met. Good location only about a 10 minute walk from the other side of split centre but still quiet enough to get some sleep. Breakfast was great and the car saved us getting a bus ride when we wanted to explore a bit further. Honestly 10/10

Positive: The hosts were the best hosts I have ever encountered on various travel experiences; treated us like family. The welcome basket of wine, local treats, and the stocked fridge was soda, juice, beer and water was incredible. The hosts were so helpful with restaurant and activity reservations (a bonus)! The breakfast was beautiful - offerings of local fruits, cured meats/cheese, special jams, honey, delicious pastries, eggs, and wonderful yogurts and cereals. An absolute perfect breakfast each morning. And, another bonus was 2 different types of coffee machines with wonderful coffee beans. Location was perfect, a mere 3 minute walk to the lively town area. The villa was superbly clean, incredibly quaint and quiet, and the grounds around had so much character and charm. The villa's private cave pool was refreshing after a day of exploring the wonderful city.

Summary: HIGHLY Recommend this GEM of a Villa- You will not be disappointed!!! Its so very special!

Positive: Excellent location ; right in the centre of Madrid. Very comfortable property . Nice rooms . Good security . Excellent bathroom . Great sofa bed .

Negative: The only minor negative was that there was a slight drain smell from the shower .
