"Hair of Angels" is a pretty Family house with modern and neat facilities. New construction in 2016 to PMR standards and new energies. Aerothermal heating. Outdoor heat pump providing underfloor heating for the ground floor. Very appreciable for keeping your feet warm.
Located at 248, rue de Rang du Fliers (quiet), near the Parc de Bagatelle (2 min).
2 steps from shops and the sea, 6 km from Berck Plage and 7 km from Le Touquet.
The beach of Merlimont if located 5.3 kms, or 20 minutes by bike .....

Summary: Not impressed owner was unable to send contract in English and only communicated in French. I was the one who had to translate everything I needed to say back into French which made it all very difficult The contract was a 7 page PDF and google wouldn’t allow this amount of words to be translated. It would be easier if the owner could get herself a copy of the contract in different languages to support travellers.

Summary: had a good time touring around the area from our base in Merlimont. Enjoyed visiting nearby towns and villages. The food and wine was very good. Some lovely beaches nearby.

Summary: .....the terrace has no privacy if there is anyone in the semi next door. We were unlucky to have a large, loud group with kids so no way of using the terrace. Not their fault, they were just on holiday, but as the tables of the two properties are about 6 feet apart, you feel like you are at the same table. Works if you are a large group taking both houses as the fence can be rolled back to make one terrace, not great if you want peace and quiet and don't feel the need to socialise with next door! Garden is a sandpit which is a little bizarre, didn't sample the mini jacuzzi. House is nice inside, clean & well equipped kitchen and upstairs spacious rooms with very comfortable beds although the main road outside is very busy if you are a light sleeper. Shower upstairs is unusable as their is no way of not flooding the room - six using one shower downstairs would be tiresome, there were 3 of us so it didn't matter. Overall, would not return for a holiday there.
