Positive: Our stay at Villa Poa was lovely! We stayed for 6 nights, 3 on each side of a Safari. Lucy and Naima were so kind making us breakfast each morning and even making sure that we got fruit to go after the close of official breakfast hours. The location was also perfect, we were happy to be a bit away from the hustle and bustle of town.

Positive: I loved the breakfast – it was always fresh, with healthy options. The kids especially enjoyed the fruit servings. Villa Poa has such peaceful vibes; it was truly calming being in this place. Lucy and Neema were amazing – friendly, polite, and always jovial. Breakfast was always served on time. Although we didn’t have dinner there, dinner was prepared at the facility every evening. The seating arrangement was also lovely.

Positive: The staff, the lady working both at the reception and kitchen were so so sweet and friendly.
Negative: We booked a bungalow (the bungalows were the reason we chose this place), but then when we arrived they told us there were no available bungalows. Also there was construction right in front of our window, so we actually just wanted to relax after safari but not really possible. Then we used their company to book a tour which they overpriced heavily, and then when we had to pay for the tour they tried taking additional money. Felt a bit scammed.

Positive: Lucy and Neema were so welcoming, friendly and funny. It really felt like we left as friends. It's located in a nice quiet place, with a lovely garden with all kinds of seating options. And there is a well-stocked fridge with beers and sodas And breakfast was great with fresh fruits and your choice of eggs, veggie sandwhich, pancakes or all! And only a short ride to the city center.

Positive: This place was absolutely incredible. The staff! Oh my gosh they absolutely made this place. They were the kindest, funniest and most helpful people. Massive shout out to my two new Tanzanian sisters Lucy and Neema! My dad and I stayed here after our Kilimanjaro hike and it was the most perfect place to relax in the garden on the day beds and couches. Neema and Lucy went above and beyond organising a haircut for dad, Neema giving us a massage to help our sore muscles after the hike, Lucy taking me to her tailor to help me get some clothes made and Neema coming into town with me to help me choose fabric. The beds were super comfortable and rooms had plenty of space. Food was awesome. Great brekky and the dinner was delicious too. I would stay here 100 times over. Probably my favourite ever place in all the places I’ve ever been. Thank you thank you thank you!
