This is the home that John Cougar Mellencamp sings about! “Little Pink houses for you and me!” Historic Gordonsville has that America small town charm and this is the perfect small town cottage. Walking distance to downtown, town pool and park. We lovingly restored & renovated this home and brought her back to life, come be part of yesteryear. Charming porches, large rooms, tall ceilings, gorgeous wood floors and gas fireplace all will make you feel like you’re home. There are two large bedrooms with new queen mattresses and luxurious sheets. The cottage is 1500 sq ft, giving you plenty of living space. New upscale furniture for a modern flair, a 43 inch smart tv, 4K, internet and a pretty desk in the office room, a stack washer and dryer. Updated and Renovated to fit a need to have all family members included on vacation, even those with mobility problems. The larger bath has been built with handicap amenities, grab bars, low profile step in shower with a moveable shower chair, handheld adjustable shower head, as well as a stationary shower head.There is a wheelchair ramp to the deck with French doors into the kitchen, granite and Italian tile in the kitchen, jalousie windows on the 4 season porch on the back. (wheelchair may not fit through the door to this porch. This back door & the front door were not able to be widened during the renovation). A large side deck with a table for 4, gas grill with propane tank overlooking our pretty yard with majestic shade trees to enjoy nature.House is equipped with all necessary cooking supplies, dishes, drink & wine glasses, gas BBQ grill, coffee maker, waffle maker,toaster, and microwave. Coffee, teas, sugars, creamer, laundry soap, cleaning supplies are also provided. Farm fresh eggs can be purchased and provided if you let me know. Walking distance to Main Street, Gordonsville, historically known as the “Fried Chicken Capital - where people use to sell fried chicken to the Train passengers, Yes, Gordonsville has train tracks, and hopefully in the future a train stop. Gordonsville is also short drive to Montpelier, Barboursville vineyard, Keswick, Charlottesville, and Culpeper.

Summary: We loved staying in the little town of Gordonsville! We enjoyed the antique stores, restaurants and the Bald Top Brewery in Madison. Our host was fantastic and the house was perfect! We will definitely be back.

Summary: Had a blast in Villa Rose. Nice older house that has been upkept and updated. Close to small park and community pool. Check pool schedule before you plan on using.

Summary: Well appointed small house with a front porch and swing. Older home that had been renovated to add all necessary modern amenities and as a bonus, it was handicapped accessible. The house was within walking distance of downtown Gordonville, close to shops and interesting restaurants. It was also an easy drive to historic landmarks and lots of vineyards. It was a wonderful place to catch up with older friends and do a little exploring

Summary: Cozy, clean and well stocked little home in a quiet rural neighborhood. Walking distance to downtown shops, restaurant and attractions. Playground for children just steps from the house. Great home base to visit Charlottesville, local winery's and other historical attractions. Host/hostess very reachable and accomadating.

Summary: I stayed at this property for three nights with my wife at 96-year-old mother. I needed a place that was handicap accessible and which my mother could easily navigate. She (and we) were delighted with Villa Rosa. The house is beautifully maintained and sits on expansive grounds near the town of Gordonsville, a short walk away, But in a quiet neighborhood. The house was impeccably clean and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable:

Summary: Villa Rosa served as our home away from home when we traveled to VA for my son’s graduation from UVA. The property is conveniently located to Charlottesville and made for an easy back and forth commute. The hosts added personal touches upon our arrival, such as a celebratory bottle of Prosecco and fresh flowers! The deck and expansive yard allowed us to experience wonderful indoor/outdoor living. The home was very clean and comfortable and within walking distance to many Gordonsville dining and shopping options. My family commented many times throughout our stay that the property was so cozy and charming and felt like home! Excellent experience!
