Positive: Loved the architectural makeup of the property and design. The location and view were amazing!!!!

Negative: The property check in time was 3pm, per booking contract. At 5pm, we told the cleaner that we would make the beds ourselves and that he could go. We wanted to be able to get ready and leave for our first planned outing. We lost 2 HOURS because it was not ready. Even afterwards, the counters were not wiped down or floors cleaned. We also had an interruption by an air conditioner worker. He wanted to deliver an air conditioner to the property as we were walking out for golf carts to leave. Again, very inconvenient and we had lost enough time from our trip already.

Summary: Such an awesome property that is overshadowed by poor cleanliness and service!

Positive: Lovely and clean villa and staff were excellent and allowed us to keep our luggage past check out time at no extra cost! Beautiful views and lovely pools.

Negative: There was a hole in the roof where there was a leak we were not told about but made no impact on our stay! Description slightly off as no BBQ or jacuzzi baths but made up for it with a steam room!

Summary: Just right for us.

Positive: House was great. Amazing view, good location.

Negative: There was no water, internet or electricity when we arrived. We never got internet the emtire stay, but that was ok as we were out and about anyway. The door to the street would not lock and was not repaired until the day we left. So security was an issue. Lack of towels and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom was all we were given. No drinking water provided and there was ONE tiny trash bin in the whole house. It was a small bathroom style bin to accommodate a 4br house with potentially 8-10 people is no bueno.

Summary: Good, but would not stay here again.

Positive: The Haus is modern, lots of space and light, is nicely furnished and has a wonderful ocean view. We also liked the pools. It is very appropriate for a group as each bedroom has its own bathroom and several places to be together

Negative: The bedroom in the ground floor is dark and noisy as the window is directly to the garage and you hear the traffic noise early morning

Summary: A beautiful spacious, modern and comfortable house which we enjoyed a lot.

Positive: The house was centrally located, just few minutes walk to shops and a few good restaurants. Sunrises were beautiful. Traffic was noisy out front from 5am-6pm but pretty quiet at night. The house was pretty and it was clean. It was great having four bathrooms. The staff was responsive but we only had housekeeping once during our stay.

Negative: It was hard to locate at first. Had to tell taxi drivers to drop us across from the skatepark. The kitchen was very poorly equipped so it was a challenge to prepare food or cook anything to eat at home. They also charged us for clean drinking water, which we’ve never had to pay for at any other rentals in Mexico. We got the mgt company to finally provide three bottles but we had to pay for additional ones. The house did not have a safe and a few of our things went missing, which we didn’t discover until we got home. They could have been lost in transit but either way, the house needs a safe for passports, cash, etc. We didn’t use the first floor bedroom because it was stuffy and only had a view out into the garage. The AC units were good. We had to use them at night because the ocean breeze was strong and opening the sliding doors to hear the waves caused the window shades to fly all over and make noise all night. But having the sliders open during the day, with the shades rolled up, was very nice.

Summary: Nice house for good value but needs more amenities.

Positive: We loved the villa amenities, location, and comfort! The host was very responsive and Roberto, the cleaner/maintenance staff, was fantastic! Any requests or questions, he was able to answer almost immediately. He visited almost daily to clean the villa, wash towels and linens, replenish paper towel and toilet paper, and he cleaned the pool! He was amazing and we are thankful for him. My family of 12 from Canada stayed here and it was a wonderful stay. The location was close to shops, restaurants, beach access. 2 min walk to the brewery, 5+ restaurants/bars all within 15 min walking disatanc, lots of cafes and variety stores too! The local grocery store (Chedraui) was only an 11 min walk away which was easy for us to grab food, drinks, and basic items and carry back to the villa. It was extremely spacious and comfortable! 4 bathrooms was nice to have with a large group and lots of space in the common areas/outdoor areas. The pool space was so fun and we used it everyday! We felt like royalty having our own villa and it was a nice change compared to a hotel/all inclusive resort as we were all able to enjoy more time together. Cooking amenities were great (stovetop, full fridge, microwave, toaster oven, bbq, pizza oven). We were able to enjoy a lot of meals altogether, the table also turned into a pool table which was fun to play at night! The host was very responsive via WhatsApp and offered to help with planning excursions too which was nice. The villa was easy to find with the directions provided upon check in and we were able to check in 2 hours early, which was nice to drop our luggage and change after a long travel day. Highly recommend and hoping to return one day! :) - Baxter Family

Negative: Nothing specific. We did notice a few spaces could have been cleaner (windows, bathroom showers, kitchen area) but we asked Roberto and he was able to follow through with all of our requests ! The ice maker was not working for us so we did buy lots of ice, ice cube trays would be helpful for next time. Another thing to keep in mind is to have more than 1 jug of water as we could not drink the tap water but 1 jug went quick with 12 of us so we ended up purchasing lots of water, but having additional water jugs dropped off each day would be ideal!

Summary: Highly recommend, great location, comfortable, spacious and elegant!

Positive: The property is located just across the street from the ocean with spectacular views. 3 stories with one room on the main level. The main floor has a large sectional couch and a table that doubles as a pool table/ping pong table. Two bedrooms on the second level with two queen beds. There is also a fun living space with a small bar. The two bedrooms walk out to a small pool that overlooks the ocean. The pool is almost like a deck and has 4 sun chairs and some seating too. The third floor has a large king size bed, beautiful bathtub and double large shower. The third floor also has a small private pool that looks down to the pool on the second floor and towards the ocean. The hosts have awesome communication and the staff came and cleaned our rooms with fresh bath towels everyday. Even left us snacks! They also provided lovely Egyptian towels for the beach of can be used as throw blankets. House had 4 beach chairs and two umbrellas. It’s a quick 8 min drive to the beach and costs about $100mx. The house is easy to find as it’s right by the skate park and the Isla Brewery. There are a few restaurants so you can definitely walk to dinner but taxis are easy and if you rent a golf cart they provide a covered parking spot. I would definitely come back and stay here again. Perfect for family’s or friends.
