Positive: Beautiful villa and brilliant pool area for family of 2 adults and 3 kids, very clean and comfortable beds. Such a peaceful location to relax with a beautiful view of surrounding countryside. Great host with great communication and there to answer any questions. We certainly plan to go back. Thank you Joao for your great hospitality!

Positive: Joao is a very hospitable individual and we thank him again - despite the fact that we arrived an hour earlier by road (we did not know that Portugal and Spain were not the same hour) he quickly came to give us the key, show us around, explain the rules, ... - Joao also provided advice and tips, and he even provided courtesy pastries and bread on some occasions, as well as welcome coffee - He responded quickly to little querries we had by SMS, which is extremely polite and gentle. - The small independant house is OK for a family of four, bunk beds in a room - Bedding is comfortable, kitchen well equiped, - There a terrace and an access to a nice pool, you can connect your Netflix account if you want. - We liked the region, Obidos, Peniche, and Leiria.. Portuguese people are extremely nice and polite. Main shops and markets are not so far. Sao Gregorio di Fanadia is a hilly region.
Negative: The region is a fruit farming region which attracts some insects during some periods.
Summary: Superb host, a very good experience overall.

Positive: Location was great for a calm peaceful weekend, outside area looked super relaxing for a sunny day (we were there in December so we couldn't enjoy the outside space), water, coffee and tea available and extra blankets, towels, hair dryer etc Host was indeed friendly and availabe for any questions/suggestion. You will need a car to reach the house but there's plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and the highway near by.
Negative: House was too cold, we had a small heater but it was not enough. We drink a bottle of wine that was availabe in the living room as was charged 15 euros for it (host end up not asking for the payment since he didn't inform us that we had to pay for the bottle, we thought it was a gift). The host told us we took some towels with us (he told us, didn't ask), we in fact did not take anything but I get the feeling that he didn't believe us. Nothing too serious but I will not be back to this house for this to be honest, gave me a bad feeling.
