THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR! Come enjoy this private Villa in a truly remarkable tropical setting. This six bedroom, six bath home overlooks the Caribbean Sea and it's mountains on the island of St. Martin, French West Indies in the Caribbean. Located in the Lowlands, an exclusive residential area of St. Martin, Villa Steel Magnolias is the former home of Oscar winning actress Olympia Dukakis. This beautiful villa has apx 2 acres of land that provides privacy, spaciousness and wonderful views of the island and the sparkling sea. We offer full housekeeping at no extra charge and a private cook available upon request for extra fee. The main entrance to the Villa is gated and private.
The Villa is first class from room to room offering a large indoor living/dining area with TV and stereo system both indoors and around the pool area. A large modern kitchen with double fridge and stove are just a few of the features this villa offers. The bedrooms are furnished as follows. All of the bedrooms have pillow top king size beds and all bedroom have private bathroom with shower. Most of the bedrooms have double sinks bathrooms and they all have very large showers. Of the now SIX bedrooms two are Master Bedrooms of which one has a leather sofa sleeper. We also have the option of a 7th bedroom in a separate building if needed and by request. We have 5 large bedrooms and 5 baths in the main Villa all with private baths and we have 6th large bedroom with leather sofa sleeper and large bath with separate shower and separate Jacuzzi tub!
Our rates are for the ENITRE Villa with no hidden fees or service charges as many other Villas add. Cleaning staff is included (except Sundays)....no extra charge!
The Villa offer's two master bedroom suites, one in the main Villa with 42' TV and a new master bedroom located in a building of its own overlooking the large pool and with an incredible view of the Caribbean Sea. As already said......This 6th very large master bedroom also has its own kitchenette with microwave and mini fridge. It also has a large bathroom with separate shower and Jacuzzi bathtub! Four of the five bedrooms have French doors that open up to the pool area and with view's of the Caribbean Sea. And here's another great thing about this Villa....The white sand beach at Baie Rouge is just out your back gate and only apx 25 steps away! Very few Villa's offer a great beach just a few steps away. But best of all is the staff at the Villa who will take care of your every need and truely want you to have the very best vacation possible. We do not add and service charges to our rates like many Villa's but you are welcome to tip the staff if you wish at the end or your visit. The Villa Adminastrator will meet you at the airport at no extra charge and return you to the Villa and help you and the rest of your group get ready for some St Martin/St Maarten fun! Over half of our guests are repeat visitors and want to return year after year.

Summary: We had a wonderful vacation in Saint Martin & enjoyed our stay at Villa Steel Magnolia! The location was perfect. The house was the perfect fit for our group of 14! The layout of the house was perfect & provided ample space for us all. Having a beautiful pool to come back to after enjoying the beaches was delightful!! Neville, the property manager was great & was always attentive to the questions we had.We would highly recommend this property!

Summary: Our extended family (14) loved the house, the location with a lovely new pool and the beach just outside the gate. Neville was just a text away when the city water went out for a couple of days. The house has a cistern which accommodated us easily!

Summary: Traveled with two families of 4. We loved the proximity to Baie Rouge beach. The pool was well maintained and wonderful to sit by. Home was great for a large group with plenty of bedrooms and separate villas with their own kitchenette. Neville was super helpful in touring the property and making sure we had what we needed for the week. Would recommend.

Summary: We had a wonderful time in Sxm and loved the Steel Magnolia Villa. It was beautiful and amazing. The pictures did not do it justice. Neville the caretaker was great and took care of our every question and need. The maids were so sweet and so nice. Would definitely recommend 😀😀

Summary: Steel Magnolia's was shared by my wife and I, and 3 other couples. There are 5 master bedrooms in the villa and 1 more in a separate efficiency suite next to the pool. (There is no possibility of a 7th bedroom alluded to in the detail.) It is an older property but it's all very well kept. If you want luxury, this is not it. But it's got everything anyone could need including beach/pool towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. The kitchen is smaller but more than adequate with dishwasher and 2 refrigerators. Just off the kitchen is a full size washer/dryer for guest use. The living room has adequate seating and a big screen TV with satellite service. Outside, there's covered seating for 6+ and plenty of loungers around the pool. The beach on Baie Rouge is a 2-3 minute walk out the back gate. Beautiful to look at but it was a bit choppy during our stay. (I have no idea if that's typical or not.) Note that there are stairs necessary to get into the villa and also to get down to the beach. Communication with Mark (VRBO contact and, I believe, the owner) was terrific. Property manager Neville was awesome. He was there when we arrived to show us around, came by every day or two and was responsive on WhatsApp when we had questions. Would I rent again - ABSOLUTELY.

Summary: This is a great house for a large family or multiple families. Perfect location for equal drives to every spot-Simpson Bay, Orient, Anse Marcel, etc. Very roomy, easily fit 14, maybe more with couches. Very nice pool area to hang out, great walk to an amazing beach. Loved the iguanas! Property is managed by an awesome guy-Neville. He was so helpful in many ways. Best VRBO experience I have had!
