Positive: The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The host was very kind and showed us around on arrival. The view from the balcony is amazing – you can see all of Makarska. Parking is available at the property, which was very convenient.

Negative: The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s located on a hill, so if you don’t enjoy walking uphill, a car might be useful.

Positive: Very clean apartment, we had everything we need, even capsules for dishwasher. Also pool in the villa is very good option. Nice owner. Gorgeous view from villa to Makarska.

Negative: All good, it’s more information for others, villa is located very high and road to the villa is quite steep, take it into consideration.

Positive: We liked everything about this apartment. It was great with the pool, clean room, super nice and welcoming host! We stayed for 9 days and she always made sure we were comfortable

Negative: For this apartment I would recommend a car if you are not super into walking up the hills. Walking down is super fast, but it’s more difficult walking up. However the view from the hill is definitely worth it, so next time we are renting a car :)

Positive: Villa Sukara is located on a hill overlooking the sea. The views are astonishing and having a private pool was a real privilege. The accomodation was perfectly clean, the room was of a great size with a comfortable bed, big TV and all the facilities including a fridge-freezer, iron, coffee machine, a safe and a hair dryer. The host - Anamari was very lovely and attentive. She made us feel welcome and well taken care of. We can’t thank her enough. The accommodation is at a walking distance from Makarska centre and if you rent a car you can easily explore Dalmatia and visit Krka, Dubrovnik, Split and other towns and landmarks. We were totally astonished by the beauty of Croatia. When we visit again, we will surely stay at Villa Sukara again. It was one of the best holidays we have ever had!

Positive: The property was very clean and well-equipped. The owner was available for any questions or requests. We had the most amazing view of the sea and the Makarska coastline.

Negative: There’s nothing we disliked about this property, the host or our holiday in Makarska. However as other reviewers have mentioned, the walk from the main port/coastal area to the Villa is uphill with a sharp incline. We enjoyed the walk every night - with daily ice cream in hands - but travellers need to be aware of this.
