Positive: This was a lovely place to spend a few days chilling and catching up on work as the room was large and airy and the air con and wifi were very efficient. The bed wasn't as hard as some of the beds we've slept on in Laos. Although it is located in an industrial area off a main road, it was very quiet and peaceful and it felt like a bit of a haven as it had a nice garden around it. The staff were friendly and one of them spoke good English. Each day they gave us water and toilet paper (which you don't get without asking for it in some places). The shower was quite strong and it was placed away from the toilet so you don't get wet feet if you need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night! We had some clothes washed at a reasonable cost of 30k kip/kg.

Negative: The location was a bit odd - you definitely need a car or scooter to get anywhere worth going to. The surrounding area is industrial and there is nothing useful or interesting nearby. Only one bedside table and light - would be nice if they could put them on both sides of the bed. Can't open the curtains so we just tied them in knots so we could see outside during the day. Would also be nice to have two pillows per person. A pathway between the rooms and the parking area and office would be helpful as its just grass which turns into a big muddy puddle during the rainy season.

Positive: a short walking distance to the bus station / stuntrangs. the place is very green. the wifi works well after a restart friendly staff to get a tuk tuk.

Negative: the photos don't show the right feel, the gardener must have gone for a long summer vacation. not much food nearby,
