Positive: Great to have outdoor and indoor dining space and having a private pool is a must with a small family. Great sun bathing chairs by the pool. Walking distance to a beach and a decent grocery store not far away was very handy. Aircon in bedrooms and main living space was appreciated. Surrounded by lovely landscaping and gardens.The villa grounds felt secure and private. We enjoyed using the outdoor bbq for grilling. Kitchen had plenty of crockery and pans. The rooms were a good size with decent cupboards for storing clothes. Nice to have balconies in the two bedrooms with views. Michalas the owner was always available to help with any queries or issues.

Negative: The kitchen is small and pokey which is difficult if you have more than one person prepping food and drinks. The shower in the ensuite room is not really a proper shower - it's small, and there is no shower door, so everything gets wet and doesn't drain very well. The main bathroom is a bit small and pokey - a bit awkward to get in and out of shower and the washing machine is tucked behind the door. The pool is lovely but very deep; the same depth the whole pool, which can be difficult with small children. Good to have the option to use the bikes, but would have expected that to be included in the villa price. We didn't use the small heated indoor pool - would be more useful as kitchen or living space. The owner has beach umbrellas etc available to use, but unfortunately was not clear or communicated.

Positive: We all loved our stay here. Easy walk to the beach and many tavernas in walking distance. Such a beautiful part of the island, quiet not too touristy and a lovely villa. Michalis was an absolute star, so kind and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Negative: There was nothing that I didn't like.

Summary: Bliss... A lovely and peaceful place to relax and unwind.

Positive: The location was ideal for us as near to shops , beach and tavernas. We enjoyed the outside seating areas, bbq and the pool which was well maintained. The bedrooms were a good size and beds were comfortable. The bed linen was clean and an adequate number of clean towels were provided. Good strong Wifi. Air con was good too. Michaelis was on hand for any issues and dealt with them quickly.

Negative: The villa was tired and needed a thorough deep clean. The kitchen space was difficult to use although it had all appliances. The ensuite was old, sealant mould and not useable for us. It is certainly not a luxury villa as it is called. The throws on the sofas were grubby and threadbare. We had travelled for several weeks throughout Crete staying in at least 5 other venues and this was the only one that did not provide a welcome pack not even a bottle of water, bearing in mind that some of our party came directly from the airport this wasn’t great. Also on the wall notices, it said that there would be a visit from the maid, twice in the week, this didn’t happen. The metal cover to the pool maintenance room became very hot in the sun and as it was on poolside was an issue as one of our party burnt his foot on it as he ran around the pool. The table tennis table was in a poor state with only 3 perished balls and the dart board was worn out with only 4 useable darts. The children's play equipment shown in the photographs wasn’t there. The door of the main bathroom could not be opened properly as the washing machine was behind it , which made it awkward to use.

Summary: A nice family villa, a little tired and not luxury as described.

Positive: The house is very well laid out, spacious and comfortable with plenty of small balconies. The pool was a nice size and there were plenty of seating areas around it

Negative: All towels, sheets and pillows need to be replaced and the cupboards need to be steam cleaned.
