Positive: WiFi. The host was lovely. There were towels and shower gels.

Negative: The host couldn’t speak English. There were no basic food items in (tea, coffee, margarine, oil, pasta, bread etc). No bowls, kettle, toaster. Only 1 of the hobs worked and only on a very low heat. WiFi didn’t reach one side of one of the bedrooms. Old European sockets and only two adapters to convert on the property.

Positive: The place is fantastic for people who like to be close to nature and in a more secluded location. The apartment is equipped with necessary cutlery, pots and so on to make your stay comfortable. The view from the terrace is amasing, you can see the sea, and the location is in the middle of a garden, quiet, close to nature, able to see the stars at night, birds songs in the morning, insects, a little dog and some cats. I think the pictures on booking don't do enough justice to how pleasant the place actually is. The closest beach is only 10 min by car, as well as super markets, restuarants etc. We really enjoyed our stay and managed to fully relax. Valeria is very nice and easy to communicate with.

Negative: Not directly related to the accommodation, but we love animals and the cats there are not well taken care of. The little doggie is fine and well fed, always happy to get a treat and some pets. But the cats were not in very good shape and it was sad to see them like this (our feeding them for the stay didn't really solve much).

Positive: Beautiful place up on the hill from Valledoria. It's only a short drive from the town and beaches but very peaceful place hidden in the greenery and nature. The house is lovely, very clean and very well equipped with everything needed. The hosts are great and really helpful. Best of all is the little dog Perla, she is a wonderful companion who greets everyone who comes to stay!

Positive: The house was spacious and well-supplied. Good beds, beautiful and enjoyable surroundings, including dog and cats and goats. Nice covered space outside for eating as well. The location requires driving to visit places, but we liked being in a quieter spot, and it was well-situated for the different places we visited during our stay. The price was less than alternatives and made it a great value for us.

Negative: We had a delay entering the property. We arrived by the end of our scheduled check-in hour, but the hosts had left earlier. They had messaged me earlier in the day through WhatsApp, but I don't have or use the app so I didn't know. And they hadn't seen my message to them in booking.com confirming that we would arrive by the end of our scheduled hour. Fortunately the owner of the adjoining unit stopped by and called the hosts, who drove back to give us keys and let us in. The hosts were great, though, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The one air conditioning unit is in the main room and didn't seem to blow very cold; the weather was very hot during our stay and sometimes it struggled to keep the room cool. It didn't cool the bedrooms, and one of the bedrooms just has a door without a screen, so there wasn't a way to ventilate it and stay cooler at night.

Positive: Valeria the owner, and her family, went above and beyond the call of duty to help us out when we were stranded on the way to the villa from the airport, following an accident in our hire car. She gave us a lift from nearby Sedini, and also to the supermarket in Valledoria the next day, while we waited for a replacement car. Indeed, all the locals are extremely friendly and helpful. The villa is set in the hills near the coast, and surrounded by a lovely vineyard and orchard. The beach is only a 10 minute drive away.

Negative: What's not to like? You will definitely need a car or bike if you are staying here, as there is no public transport nearby.
