Located just outside the centre of Banyuls-sur-Mer in a protected area you will benefit from restful holidays and at the same time be only 5 minutes away from the beaches of the Mediterranean see and the animation of the seaside town of Banyuls with his marina, small ancient streets and stairs, artists shops along the dock.
The pool of 10m by 4,4m has a shallow area in which you can lie down and contemplate the magnificent views on the mountains and vineyards.
The area is known for his sweet wine 'Banyuls' which you can savour on the terrace in the shade of the old olive tree.

Summary: Large and nice house in the mountains in a quiet location. The house is not directly adjacent to Banyuls-sur-mer, it is a bit away. We were a little disappointed that the pool was not full or cleaned. We found out that it was due to water restrictions. It would have been good if this had been communicated to us before our booking.

Summary: The house has a great layout with a good sized sitting room and bedrooms, a fantastic kitchen and several tables for indoors and outdoors eating.The pool was low due to the drought but still very usable and is due some maintenance. The only aspect of the house whch could be improved and updated is the showers, they are adequate but could be better. Information and help from the owners was excellent. The house is in a lovely situation with a great view of the hills behind. The price is fair and the home is really comfortable.

Summary: Just arrived back from 10 days in wonderful i Mas Parer and Banyuls. We had a great time at this wonderful property, which comes exactly as advertised on the website. Nicolas and Kathleen have been wonderful in assisting us with arriving at the house, providing precise and detailed driving instructions and getting settled in the house. We were also provided with information on things to see and do in and around Banyuls. Recommended are as follows: Drive to Spain using the small mountain road, go for runs or treks on any of the many trails, visit the olive oil production in Banyuls (http://www.loliviercatalan.fr/?lang=fr), visit the wonderful town of Collioure and make sure to visit Perpingang also. Or just hang around the house and watch the olives grow or fall off the tree, depending on when you visit :-) I highly recommend this house if you are looking to be far away from the hustle and bustle yet close enough to all the fun.
