3 Bedroom Villa in Margon

Sleeps 6 in comfort in 3 excellent size bedrooms. 1 king-double, plus 2 twin bedrooms. Modern villa with spacious open-plan living area and fully equipped kitchen. Available from Mid May is a Fabulous 7m x 3.5m heated pool with swimming jet surrounded by large sunbathing patio in south-facing garden. Large dining terrace with gas BBQ. Beautiful views of surrounding vineyards and mountains in the distance. Many interesting places to visit.
The villa is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. All linen and towels (not beach). Enough is left for the duration of your stay and our housekeepers will collect laundry once a week.
There is a washing machine and dishwasher provided for your use and powder/liquid is provided for both.
The kitchen is fully equipped and washing up liquid, cleaning products and cloths are also provided for your use. There is a small amount of tea, coffee, sugar and milk left for your arrival. So no need to bring anything with you!
The villa is 10 minutes from the historic town of Pezenas and 30 minutes from the local beaches and seaside amenities.
Margon is a small quiet village with a family run restaurant open six days a week. There is also a bread delivery by van six days a week from the bakery in nearby Pouzolles. With Roujan being the nearest town for groceries.
The area is perfect for walking or cycling with beautiful countryside scenery to enjoy.

Summary: The villa was very clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable and the showers good. The kitchen was well equipped and to a high standard. It was great to have a gas bbq on the patio, too hot to cook inside! The best feature was undoubtedly the pool, we loved the steps to sit and read on. The whole area was great; we did a wine tasting with lunch and Peyrat vineyard just ten minutes drive away. Our favourite town was Pezenas; for dinner, ice cream or just a wander. An excellent stay, only wish it was longer!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in the villa and area. The house had everything we needed for our vacation. The pool was a great activity for the whole family and we used it multiple times a day. For the kids there are also a little playground and football/basketball field just at the end of the street. The village of Margon is nice and quiet, with friendly people and surrounded by vineyards. The tracks and roads through the vineyards in the wide surroundings offer great views during walks, runs and bike rides. There are a lot(!) of wineries within short (10-15min drive) distance from the house if you’d like to taste and buy some wines. The house is also a great location to visit some of the cities around it (Pezenas, Beziers, Carcassonne, Montpellier, etc). If I’d had to give one point for improvement it would be the internet speed, which is a bit slow (but perhaps that’s normal on the countryside?). It was fast enough for the kids to watch Netflix though, so good enough. All in all, we had a lovely stay and had a great time. We’d definitely stay here again!

Summary: We have had a wonderful week in this house. Everything is there to make the stay comfortable. I would however recommend an airconditioning, especially in the bedrooms. Our girls (8 and 6) loved the pool and so did we! We also recommend the local restaurant in Margon! Very nice! Ken, the local housekeeper, kept the pool very clean and in good quality, good communication with him! I definately recommend this house! Thank you for the nice stay!

Summary: Thanks to Judith and David for a great holiday at their beautiful villa in Margon. The communication was fantastic, easy and fast with answering all questions we had. Judith and David made our stay very pleasant and we enjoyed 2 weeks this September 2019. The villa was exactly as describes and the pool fantastic with an outside shower. Summary: We had a super week at this wonderful villa. Judith was very easy to deal with and responded quickly to all our questions. The villa itself was really well maintained, very clean and with everything we needed. We spent most of our time in the pool which felt very private despite the other houses nearby. Margon is a v small village with one restaurant where we had a lovely meal (great pizza!) - would advise booking as it was very busy the night we were there. Béziers was a nice day trip but mostly it was hard to tear ourselves away from the villa!

Summary: A very well equipped quality villa, everything one needs for cooking and cleaning is provided. The outside sitting and dining area is really good with ample shade for those who wish it, and the pool is wonderful. Margon is a lovely village and the area is interesting to visit.
