4 Bedroom Villa in Syracuse, Siracusa

The Villa del Mito boasts a fabulous geographical position. Set in the middle of a protected marine area (Plemmirio Nature Reserve), it enjoys a splendid view over the sea and to its left a marvelous view of the historic and fascinating city of Syracuse (only 11 km away). Characteristic that makes this property unique and special (over 2000 square meters) is the architectural realization of each of its individual parts entirely in wood and drywall.
It has an exclusive super-panoramic pool overlooking the sea that can be reached from the villa through a private access only 280 meters from the cliff.
It consists of 3 different blocks of flats, two of which plus a third body with a large kitchen that acts as a convivial area of โ€‹โ€‹the villa, making a connection between everyone. The interior and exterior furnishings are made up and mainly characterized by antique Sicilian furniture.
The first settlement consists of two bedrooms with private bathroom, and a huge living room, plus fully equipped kitchen and a veranda overlooking the garden.
The second group has instead of two bedrooms, one double and one with bunk beds (or optional on demand there is the possibility of a fourth double bed placed in the living room on a comfortable sofa bed), a bathroom, fitted kitchen , living room, and a super panoramic veranda on the sea.
The third and last block in the middle of a typical rustic Sicilian style is positioned between the first 2 and serves as a common area for socializing. It has a large covered veranda that includes a spacious and well-equipped kitchen (consisting of a wood-burning barbecue oven and a traditional kitchen with electric oven) and a living room with a comfortable 10-seater table that allows guests to enjoy the pleasant hours of conviviality among the pleasures of the table.
The property is surrounded by a large garden (1000 mtq) rich in local plants and tall palm trees.
Considerable space is devoted to the pool served by a large solarium equipped with deckchairs (rattan) and a set of sofas and armchairs with a small table (Rattan) with a small beach of white pebbles River that runs along the left side of the pool overlooking on the sea.
The whole villa is illuminated in the night by a multicolor LED system that makes the unique and exclusive environment.
The swimming pool is open from METร  APRIL to MID OCTOBER

Summary: Lovely property with great views of the sea. The photos were a little "selective" so as to downplay proximity of adjacent property but this wasn't a big deal anyway. Our host was very helpful. Lots of great things to see and do from this location (but you need a car).

Summary: Lovely villa and pool. Pity they have decommissioned the pizza oven, but bbq great. Remote location and peaceful (no Uber from the property) amazing views of the sea and on one day we could see Etna Amazing staff welcome - our flight was delayed so we didnโ€™t get there until 10pm but still met us Fantastic!

Summary: The house and setting are absolutely lovely. The house is made up of two separate two-bedroom houses, and another separate completely open kitchen / dining area that is very nice to sit in. The location is also convenient - close to Syracuse as well as a few restaurants. The amenities in the house (linen, towels, cupboards, glasses etc) are a little bit at odds with the "luxury" category of the house and could do with a bit of updating. (Ikea would be acceptable). Nice landlord and pleasant welcoming service.

Summary: "The villa has stunning views of sea and the lay-out of the buildings also alllows for optimal use of both sun and shade. Although the air conditioning in the two main house bedrooms was satisfactory. The proprietress was friendly and very helpful. A car is essential to access Syracusa, the surrounding areas and the local minimarket, which did offer a good source of fresh and packaged produce."

Summary: "This place is a little paradise! We definitely could live here. Stunning views onto the see, the outside kitchen (we've practically lived in this kitchen), the delicious garden with sun and shade. We were a bit hesitant to go because we have 2 small children (4 years and 1.5) and through the pictures you get the impression of a house perched on a hill surrounded by cliffs. The place is very safe though, no steep cliffs, but it is true that the access to the see from the villa is not something you can do with small kids. We went to the Arenella beach instead, which, in September, has very clear water, it was like a swimming pool. But our children loved this place, they played in the garden on the little terrasses and we often stayed "home" for the largest part of the day."
