Summary: We knew we were getting a bunk room, which worked fine for our family. But we didn't know that there was some sort of big reunion/ convention going on at the same time we were there, so we had a dj blasting music right out our window and people were smoking right outside our window and their smoke filled our room since it was very hot and we had to have our windows open to get some air. The dj stopped at 10pm but the people congregated for several more hours which made it challenging to sleep. The room was basic but nice. The facilities were nice and breakfast was good.

Summary: Excellent location and views with affordable options for room and food choices (affordable by regional standards). The hotel is spotless and the staff is remarkably friendly and helpful. For a gourmet meal, walk down to the sister hotel, the Villars Palace. Experience the deck with a vast view and a historic bar/apothecary and lounge. Even the shared bath single rooms are cozy.

Summary: The only thing I would mention here is that the room I have gotten here has a shared bathroom and it is not clear when you make the booking
