Positive: A clean and modern duplex. It had all the necessities in the kitchen and a nice streaming TV in the upstairs bedroom. The bathroom is downstairs, it was not a problem for us. We enjoyed the small balcony with good views and privacy. It is perfect for two people. The owners are very responsive. We definitely recommend it..

Positive: Villas Flakis offers an outstanding experience especially at this price point. The quality of the finish throughout, and the attention to detail, is superb. We booked two nights here and wished we had booked longer. There is a parking space, and the entrance to Monteverde Cloud Park is only 10 mins drive away. There is a whirlpool bath next to the bedroom area with a great view over the forest. Coffee and other consumables are all provided. We would book again without hesitation!
Negative: Almost nothing. The motor or compressor in the fridge downstairs can be a little noisy when it kicks in at night, although we soon got used to this! Similarly, if there are noisy guests in the attached property next door then it is possible to hear them through the wall.

Positive: An amazing Condo in a great location. It has two dedicated parking spots for the two Condos in the building. The keys are in a lock box outside, so easy to get. The kitchen is well stocked with dishware, pots and pans, etc. There is a Washer/Dryer. The upstairs bedroom has a jacuzzi tub that you can watch the sunset all the way out on the ocean from. There is also a nice balcony with chairs. We liked the place so much we stayed an extra day!
Negative: The washer/dryer is very high-tech and difficult to understand how to operate. More detailed instructions would be very helpful.

Positive: Just a stunning little villa. The wood finishing just beautiful. The jacuzzi bathtub with a million dollar view out the side window just brilliant. It was very well appointed. The rain shower head was great. Felt secure and safe. Sunset from balcony. It was close to the Monteverde Cloud Forest. I’d suggest driving in at 8 in the morning for a coffee and being entertained by the humming birds - brilliant OR enjoy it after your walk through the forest. Not a massive amount of parking there so parking at designated parking and taking shuttle bus in a good option.
Negative: It was all good.
Summary: Could not have asked for a better way to finish our last 24 hrs in Cost Rica.
