Summary: There are a select few places that I'd choose to live in other than my own home. This establishment is on that list. The scenery from the patio and balcony is absolutely beautiful. The entire villa itself is brimming with charm, I was loathe to check out at the end. We had an absolutely superb trip spending time at Jockey's Ridge State Park and walking along the sound side. The area is also just mere minutes from any public beach access to experience the ocean. My wife and I have been goin to OBX for our honeymoon and then anniversaries since 2016 and have always stayed at a hotel until this year. After this experience at the Villas we would never go back to hotels unless we had no other choice. Come 2024 we'll definitely be booking another stay at the Villas, even at the same place, J2, if we can get it. There were some cons, but they were not enough to even put a dent in the max star rating review we're giving our experience. There was a fair amount of pet fur left over on some of the accent pillows. We encountered several cockroaches. Just be neat and do not leave food out. It's clear that the establishment is taking action and has put out traps or perimeter spray, because we found dead ones and those that were alive were quite sluggish. When I went to use the dryer I checked the lint trap out of habit. It was about an inch and a half thick with lint, hair, and pet hair. Regardless 10/10 will stay again.
