Summary: Loved the big dining table that allowed for us to eat family style and celebrate our daughter's birthday. The house was charming and we loved having the room to spread out. I could have spent a lot of time in the library/game room browsing and reading books. A super room! I would suggest though maybe some updates to the bedding and perhaps toilets. Overall though we would recommend and stay here again!

Summary: We had such a great time staying at Paula's farmhouse! The property is beautiful and well maintained, and Paula was so thoughtful and responsive whenever we had a question. The spacious kitchen and barbeque meant we could make big dinners every night to share at the dining room table, and the layout (and thick walls!) meant that the younger generation could go upstairs to laugh and chat later in the evening without disturbing our parents. If you've never been to the North Country, we were pleasantly surprised by how much there was to do and see (kayaking and swimming on the Grasse River, fishing in the Saint-Lawrence, even visiting a local alpaca farm!) We can't thank you enough, Paula!

Summary: We will definitely be back-- everything about the house was so lovely, and the view from the library across the field to see the sunset each night was so relaxing. My mom even saw a mother deer and her fawn. I can't say enough good things about this house and the hostess, Paula. We 100% did not want to leave!

Summary: Paula was very responsive to our questions during our stays. Thanks to her generosity, we enjoyed delicious eggs fresh from the farm. My children liked to look at the cows during the day and enjoyed the fire and stars at night. Items in the house were arranged beautifully and in a meaningful way. Great place for a getaway. At the same time, there are stores like Price Chopper and Steward Gas Station with friendly employees within reasonable driving distance. Moreover, there are Christian and Catholic churches in Canton and Gouverneur, like St. Mary and St. James.

Summary: We enjoyed the farm house so much! The kitchen was great (I'm a chef by trade). It was only the three of us but we loved the spaciousness of the house. We could hang out together in the dinning room, kitchen or the living rooms, or relax in the library, sitting rooms, or outdoor deck and gazebo on our own. Not to mention we each had our own room! I enjoyed looking out at the cows from the kitchen sink window with the fall colors and the frost on the ground it was amazing. Our hostess Paula was accommodating to all of needs and very helpful and patient with the reservation (I'm a computer illiterate). We will be back soon.Thanks again Paula!!!

Summary: The house was very clean and inviting. Owner was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. What a surprise to see cows in the field as I sat at the table looking outside with my morning coffee. Lots of pictures were taken to show family and friends.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in this charming farm house. The house is spacious with a good sized yard - great for kids to run around in. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc. and easy to use. Paula was responsive and welcoming. We would highly recommend it for anyone visiting the north country.
