Summary: One of the quietest places we have stayed. Town of Winthrop is a cute western town. Good restaurants and shops.

Summary: We had a great one-night stay at The Virginian Resort. The room was clean, spacious, and cozy, with a comfy bed and strong AC. Loved the outdoor seating by the creek—perfect for enjoying pizza from next door. Super convenient location with a store right nearby. Would definitely come back!

Summary: Stayed for a night and I’m not lying I couldn’t sleep whole night bcz of the extremely old heaters which were making CONSTANT NOISES for the whole night. Definitely, will look for another one next time.

Summary: Our room was just like the picture. We had lots of room and the bed was comfy. The shower head was rather low; I am 5’4 and it was at forehead level for me. The little balcony would be nice in the summer, but oddly enough we didn’t use it in 24 degree weather. It’s not far from town but it isn’t safe to walk on highway 20 so we drove in. Overall it was a nice stay. It is rustic, to go with the town’s theme, but we had everything we needed.

Summary: I like that the cabin is well equipped with heat, electrical(plenty of outlets for charging phones), hot water, refrigerator, microwave, table & chairs. It was perfect for our group of 4, allowing us to bring foods that could easily be reheated. The only things that could be enhanced would be to move the toilet paper hanger a little farther forward(cabin 6), & to install a different light above the center of the room(one that shines brighter straight down). The current light is fine for the room, but didn’t give quite enough light for playing cards. Also, there was a big gap in the front door that allowed cold air to constantly disperse a cold draft into the room. Every night we jammed newspaper into the gap between the floor & wall to stop the cold from entering. The door needs to be straightened, stiffened, & the sill needs to be redone.
