Positive: We loved the doors that all opened onto the large terrace. I enjoyed the bath tub with a view. There was so much natural light and it felt peaceful. The colors of the home were perfect for rest and relaxation. Well done! Would love to know where to find the kitchen tile please?
Negative: We were given only 2 sets of towels for 3 bathrooms and 9 days at the home. We were also only given ONE dish towel for 9 days! When we requested at least 2 more sets of towels and another dish towel we were told that we were given a starter kit and we would need to make do. Honestly that was unacceptable for the length of stay and the kind of property this is a 3 bedroom/3 bath place. We were finally brought another set along with 2 bathrobes. Also there were LOTS of ants.
Summary: We had the best time here! So many lovely memories made.

Positive: The property was beautiful. The photos didn’t do its justice. The view was breathtaking in winter, so I can’t imagine how it would look like in summer time. The property was clean and spacious and located in a charming town. The it is located on a steep incline but once up there you can see that it was worth the climb. Boats, ferries and taxi will connect you to the main towns. Would highly recommend.

Positive: Beautiful view and patio area. Very spacious and great amenities.
Negative: The cleaner didn’t return our iPad we left behind by accident. Very dishonest staff. I have left things at other properties and they have returned to me, even via mail and I was happy to for postage. I guess these cleaners are not honest people.
Summary: Beautiful view, but cleaner was not honest and took our stuff.

Positive: The property is amazing with glorious views of Lake Como, comfortable beds and furnishings and a great kitchen. The arrival/access instructions were perfect, and the team was exceptionally responsive when we had a brief power outage over the weekend, helping us resolve the issue immediately. We were particularly grateful that Giuseppe from Rent All Como met us at the parking spot and helped us up the hill to the apartment (he returned to help us on departure as well). The team was totally transparent about access to the property and we STRONGLY recommend packing light. It is a lovely walk up the hill but can be a challenge if you have heavy bags (thanks Giuseppe!!!). Also great restaurants and a wine bar nearby, and the Lake Como ferry provides regular service from Carate Urio.
Negative: It was a fabulous stay. The only challenges were related to the site (accessed by a steep cobblestone pathway), and to Carate Urio itself. The hairpin turns and narrow roads from the main highway to the village must be negotiated with care (bring a small car...)
