NOTE: This resort is located over 1,000 acres of hilly terrain. A vast majority of unit's will require stairs; in few cases up to 30 stairs leading to your unit. Please make sure your travel party is active or able to navigate at least one flight of stairs.
The person checking in must be 21 years of age (or minimum age of 18). With this notion, please prepare a VALID ID and credit card in your name. A $100 Pre-Authorization from any major credit card upon checking in is required. After purchase you will receive an email confirmation showing your name on the reservation as the guest checking in within 14 days of check in date. Please bring a valid form of Picture ID. However, if you would like to change the name of the person checking in after you have provided this information, there will be a $99.00 name change fee. Any damages will be charge upon check-out.
The check- in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 10 a.m. On another note, late check-in procedures are located outside of the registration building. Picking up the receiver will call security.
The nearest airport to Christmas Mountain Village is Dane County Regional (MSN) which is 55 miles by car respectively.

Summary: It took us 45 minutes to check in because they had low staff! Besides the hot tub not working and long wait for checking in, it was a trip of a lifetime! The cabin and location was perfect! Will most definitely be back 😊

Summary: THe reservation for a cabin was not sent to the vacation place correctly. We were placed in a townhome with a ton of steps. I specifically wanted the cabins because of my disability and of having a 4 and 5 year old with us. Luckily, the management at the village was kind enough and had a cabin open and changed us. I may not use this service again if this continues.

Summary: I planned a spring break trip last year of 2020 Because of Covid 19, I had to cancel. I did not receive a full refund for the first trip I received a voucher. I was giving a voucher to come back within 12 months. It was hell trying to book again. The second time I scheduled the trip I was told that I had to pay again when booking to use the voucher and that upon check-in I would be credited. I received a credit back that was nowhere near the amount I paid for the first trip. "I paid for the trip twice" Vrbo maybe again but property management is a big fat NO! The resort Christmas Mountain was great.
