Summary: We were not able to make it to the hotel because of the unexpected weather conditions. We contacted the hotel to help us with the reservation since the weather(snow) did not allow us to get to our hotel and they offered to give a voucher . Unfortunately we had to rent a different hotel for the night. Only solution given was a credit for future stay. The owner Maggie was very nice but was not able to help us with a refund. We pretty much lost $330.00.

Summary: Of all the places we stayed in Iceland while traveling the Ring Road Við Lónið was my favorite. The location was perfect, the room was beautiful and comfortable, and the hosts were very responsive. I can’t wait to go back!

Summary: This is a very nice room in a very central location. The check in is essentially grabbing an envelope from the lobby, you don't interact with anyone. Our room has a great view of the harbor. There is no breakfast. We drove (in summer) to the Filling Station and got a very tasty, affordable (for Iceland) breakfast. The room is very clean, a good size, strong internet and good water pressure.

Summary: Fantastic location. Quiet, only 8 rooms. Very comfortable room. Great shower. Close to restaurants. No TV, but that's not a bad thing! I would absolutely stay here again.
