One bedroom (50 sqm)bungalow with open plan kitchen & living area and covered deck only two minutes walk from the beach.
Perfect for a couple wanting space or just a weekend getaway.
It has a fireplace for heating in the winter and a fully functional kitchen.
Linen & towels provided.
Coffee, tea and sugar will be provided for guests
Fibre internet available
Barbecue available
Big outdoor area with fire pit available.
Extra charge per head per night for more than 2 adults at the property. Guests must obtain the owner’s permission first to use the cabin. We have 4 extra beds available in the cabin - perfect for teenagers.
If guests are to visit you at the house, you are liable for anything missing or any damage from your guests.
We do a thorough check after you check out and anything missing will be invoiced to you.
The house is there for guests to enjoy and we have made a huge effort to ensure you have all you need for your stay.
So if things are taken, it puts a financial strain on the owner to replace items ready for the next guests.

Summary: Worked perfectly for a low-key break. Handy, quiet location. The house was comfortable and warm with good facilities. We loved the beach walks. Excellent bird-watching up the coast at Kuku Beach. We'd love to come back sometime.

Summary: From the time I booked, to the very end of my stay, Jean went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. She helped me with my travel plans, provided locations for shopping, and advised me of best times for catching the beautiful sunset at the beach! Jeans cozy getaway is within walking distance from the beach, which I enjoyed almost daily! It's everything described in the posting and more! I truly enjoyed my relaxing and peaceful stay at Jean's lovely beachside retreat!

Summary: This is a cute cottage tucked in a mature garden to provide privacy and shade. This is obviously a well-loved family bach and therefore you need to expect that although it is very clean/tidy - there is a lot of old family relics, mis-matched furniture and a well worn couch that adds to the charm. Disappointingly the bikes offered for use were not in good working order so we abandoned their use early on. On the not-so-good side, as all houses in this village rely on bore/tank water, there is a water pump which activates randomly 24/07 right outside the bedroom window. We had a lot of disturbed sleep throughout the night/early morning. Something to keep in mind if you are a light sleeper. FYI - for those wanting to swim/paddle in the river, we were advised by the host that it currently has e-coli so we only swam in the sea which was great, warm and lots of fun.

Summary: We were very happy with our accommodation it was quiet and had a lovely space just to relax. Everything was well explained and set out. We got out and explored the area. Our host was just a text message away if required. Would be very happy to recommend this accommodation for holiday markers.
