Positive: Beautiful Design/aesthetics. Pool area is very modern and relaxing. Bar prices are also very acceptable considering high prices in town. Also absolutely loved the breakfast, always a highlight in the morning.
Negative: Staff seemed untrained and unmotivated (no smile on their faces). Also simple mistakes during check in. Don’t speak English as well which is quite shocking. Price point is also very high, but we were there during high season wheee everything seems overpriced in Turkey right now. However one staff member was particularly friendly and super helpful (Can).
Summary: Beautiful, modern boutique hotel with great pool, super good breakfast but quite high price point for a boutique hotel.

Positive: The staff was amazing and probably the best service we have ever gotten - The prices on the menus were also great, cheaper than a lot of other places. The hotel was clean, and the food tasted. The waiters were always nice and we could tell that they wanted us to have a good experience.
Negative: Nothing really, everything was great.
Summary: We stayed for 5 days, and we enjoyed every day. The food was great and we have nothing bad to say.

Positive: Beautiful Hotel with Poor Service – Disappointing Overall Experience We stayed as a couple from Switzerland at Wakana Hotel in Alaçatı, near Çeşme. The hotel opened only recently and is truly beautiful and modern. The design, the pool area, the sunbeds, and the lounge-style retreat areas all create a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was also clean, spacious, and very pleasant to stay in
Negative: However, the hotel has a serious issue that overshadowed our stay: the service and staff are untrained, unprofessional, and lack basic hospitality skills. From check-in to daily service, we encountered delays, indifference, and a lack of courtesy. In a hotel of this category, staff should be properly trained, proactive, and service-minded. Unfortunately, we experienced the opposite. Small but important details were neglected — such as not refilling toilet paper, coffee capsules, or minibar items. These are basic standards we expected but did not receive. The breakfast was also very disappointing: every day it was the exact same offering, with little to no variety. Worse, we had to pay €10 extra for something as simple as additional eggs or a small portion of granola. For a hotel in this price range, this is simply unacceptable and feels like an unnecessary upsell. Additionally, the prices for drinks and extras were far too high. We paid around €20 for a gin & tonic, €10 for a small glass of white wine, and even coffee and tea — which should be included with breakfast — were charged as extras.
