Positive: Good hotel, helpful staff accommodated me despite being busy. Good communication before I arrived so I knew how to get in. Delicious dinner, really enjoyed that.

Negative: Room was very small, and pillow so flat I used my bag underneath to give it some height.

Negative: On Wednesday I think Colditz has 1/2 day closing as eating is very limited. Hotel unmanned with no option for evening meal or bar.

Positive: The code to the side door was emailed to us . We let ourselves in and found our room . We never saw anyone until we came to leave and we gave our money to the kitchen staff for our nights stay .We did drink 3 beers from the fridge but the kitchen staff did not charge us for them . We never even saw any other guests if there was any . I was really strange not seeing anyone from the hotel . If I was to go back to Colditz Castle again I would stay there again .

Negative: Everything was good .

Summary: Interesting to say the least . Kitchen staff showed up just before we where to go .
