Summary: We had the best stay at the Hardy House for VT graduation. From prompt responses from Lon, to Erica (property manager) coming over to spread salt on the icy driveway, every need was met and exceeded. The graduation decorations and gifts were so thoughtful and made our celebration that much more special. Christmas decorations and gifts took our stay over the top. The game room was a highlight of our stay. The house is immaculately clean and everything you could need for a comfortable stay is there. I assume that Lon and Jana have worked in the hospitality industry before, as I have never stayed anywhere with such thoughtful touches as Hardy House. Thanks again for making VT graduation such a memorable experience!

Summary: This property was perfect for our visit to VT. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. every aspect of this home was thought out and offered us everything we could possibly need for a family visit with our daughter and a fun weekend. It was a short walk to Lane and overall a perfect weekend for every member of our family. We would definitely stay again.

Summary: Our group of 7 VT alums stayed at Lon and Jana's place for a summer weekend in Blacksburg- would definitely echo the other reviews in saying that the house is even better than in the photos! We loved having coffee on the screened in porch, the awesome downstairs shower, and all the games in the basement. The house was cozy & comfortable and we all had plenty of space. There were lots of thoughtful touches, like mini toothpaste/shampoo/makeup wipes in each bathroom. Even fresh flowers and a delicious strudel from Our Daily Bread! (IYKYK) The neighborhood is beautiful and it was a short & pleasant walk downtown via the Huckleberry Trail. Cannot wait to stay again for our next Blacksburg trip :)

Summary: We had a stellar stay here. The home was so well appointed for both adults and teens with a terrific deck, backyard, and game room. The location right off the Huckleberry Trail was perfect and Lon the host was an outstanding communicator, immensely helpful, and incredibly generous.

Summary: The Hardy House was beautiful, spacious, and conveniently close to downtown Blacksburg! It was the perfect location to get ready with my bridesmaids the morning of my wedding. We enjoyed the tasteful decor, comfortable beds, picturesque indoor and outdoor spaces, and thoughtful touches throughout the property. The hosts were extremely accommodating in making our big day extra special. Would highly recommend!

Summary: We enjoyed everything about this property, from the beautiful lawn, screened in porch, to the amazing game room decked out in all things VT, and the huge back yard; it is the perfect getaway. The hosts are awesome as well, they were so easy to communicate with, and provided a lovely welcoming environment for guests. We will definitely be returning! 1000 stars for this find!

Summary: Beautiful home!! Couldn’t have been more pleased with this property. It had everything you could Possibly imagine needing while being away from home. We walked everywhere, it was so convenient to everything, Virginia Tech, nature trails, and shopping. It was wonderful for entertaining.

Summary: This home and the hosts were magnificent. The house was immaculate and had every convenience, it is beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully appointed for guests. The hosts were perfectly tuned in to the special occasion (graduation and Navy commissioning) and went out of their way to make our stay on this momentous day one for memories for a lifetime. Summary: This is one of the nicest places we have stayed. The hosts were very inviting, and the house was very clean. All of the beds were comfortable, which is rare to find in a vacation rental. The property is beautiful and the grounds very well kept. The house really felt like home. It is a short walk to Virginia Tech and the Huckleberry Trail. Would definitely stay here again!
