There are two large great rooms with panoramic beach views and large flat panel TVs with Dish network. There are three bedrooms, each with flat panel TVs. The master bedroom has a king sized bed. The second bedroom has a queen, and the third has two twins. The vacation rental has two and half bathrooms. It is within walking distance of restaurants. The perfect location for your beach vacation! While the picture may look like two homes, it is in fact just one vacation house.

PLAN ACCORDINGLY: We have provided the minimum essentials to get you started. Such as 1 paper towel roll, minimal toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, etc. We are a vacation rental and not a hotel, so once you run out of the initial supplies it is up to you with what you need. Anything else you may need during your stay; the nearest Publix and Walmart is less than 10 minutes away from the property
CHECK-INS: All check-ins are a self check-in process. For security purposes, access instructions will be sent to you the day of your arrival through Vrbo messaging. Thank you.
EARLY CHECK-INS: Check-in time is 4PM EST (or afterwards). If you need the property prior to check-in time, please be made aware that early check-ins cannot be confirmed or guaranteed until the day of your arrival.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
Welcome to Manasota Key, from the north tip of the island to the south, this quant 11 mile island is picture perfect “old Florida”. This island is unique in which half is in Sarasota County and the other half is Charlotte County. It consists mainly of Englewood Beach in Charlotte County, Florida and is part of the Punta Gorda Metropolitan.
MANASOTA KEY BY MORNING
In the mornings head out your front door and down to the beach where you will find dolphins and other sea creatures making an early morning appearance. Or enjoy a quick bike or car ride to sightsee around the island and find yourself breath taken by the unique layout of the island.
MANASOTA KEY BY AFTERNOON
There are great restaurants on the Key with daily food and drink specials. For a quick drive off the island, enjoy a delicious lunch at Farlows on the Water. One of the best in the area!

Summary: The house is old and they do not fo repairs. The door handle on back door is broke off and just laying on a shelf. One bedroom with twin befs was not clean. We had to wash sheets before going to sleep. Only 3 burners work on stove.

Summary: First I want to say that the location was wonderful. Directly on the beach. Easy drive to grocery store and restaurants. The house was clean. I read the other reviews and was prepared for some things . -Bugs: we noticed 2 palmetto bugs in the house during our stay, it’s Florida so no big deal. We were all pretty covered in bites by the end of our stay from the midges outside. Bug spray did not detour them. -Doors: The back door lock was broken. Someone had broken the handle off which made it very difficult to lock. -Master bed room: mattress needs to be replaced, it has two valleys in it. Other 2 bedroom bedrooms were ok -Outside: table umbrella broken, only 3 of the 8 beach chairs were not broken. (Bring your own) -Random items broken through out the house. Examples: no glass on ceiling light, old toilet paper/towel bars broken still half hanging. These things not a big deal just made it feel janky. -Condos on same lot. These guests walk directly to beach beside master bedroom windows. During our stay we had issues with two different condo guests. One family parked in our space behind the house. And the others put up a huge camp site directly on the beach at the end of our walk way. Making our very convenient beach front property very inconvenient because we had to walk around all of there things going back and forth. Chances are you would not have these issues but I was not expecting them when renting a private house. So I conclude saying temper your expectations.

Summary: This was the perfect spot especially with kids! The location makes getting on and off the beach so easy with a great deck to hang out on and get cleaned up from the beach. It was so quiet and beautiful to sit out on the deck first thing in the morning. The sunset was beautiful at this spot. Plenty of chairs, sifters and toys in the shed. The communication with the owner was great. Check in and check out were super easy.

Summary: The house was charming with that old Florida feel. It is perfectly positioned mere steps away from the ocean. The pristine sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters offered endless enjoyment for the kids, who reveled in swimming and playing on the beach daily. The house was furnished with beach toys, including noodles and a boogie board, and an assortment of metal shell diggers allowed us to collect a variety of stunning seashells. A fully stocked kitchen and the option for grocery delivery from Walmart afforded us the luxury of cooking in our own space or exploring local dining options. We were informed by locals that Manasota Key is a hidden gem, a truly special place. Our experience was simply delightful. I would highly recommend eating at The Waverly Restaurant which is located right down the road and the food was absolutely delicious. There are also a bunch of cute shops near by to check out during the day. And at night, the sunsets are absolutely breathtaking. The host, Andrew was accommodating as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Summary: Having Stayed at this property in 2021, I assumed there would be updates because of the large price increase. However, other than the new paint job on the outside, the Inside remained the same. The large TV in the den did not work. There was a sour smell Coming from the air conditioner. The water pressure in the main bathroom was very low and the mattress was terrible. The last time we stayed in 2021 , my husband was bitten by something while sleeping. He slept in the same bed on this trip and was bitten head to toe again. I can only imagine that some thing is living in the mattress. We won’t be renting this house again. It’s a shame because the location is perfect and it could be a beautiful place to stay.

Summary: Property is located right in front of the beach. House is spacious. Got everything we needed like pots and plates and silverware. Also has a washer and dryer very convenient. House is outdated and we did see a few roaches. Cleanliness was not the greatest but our overall experience was great. We stayed 5 nights and the price was fair considering that it is a convenient location. It was nice to be able to walk out to the beach whenever we wanted without having to carry umbrellas and chairs. The beach is quite peaceful not crowded at all. My two little boys really did enjoy it. Check in was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Our family took our first ever vacation here. It took me a long time to book because I wanted to find the perfect place. This beach house was it! I am so happy I booked this location. It had everything we needed to help make everything memorable. There was 7 of us and there was more than enough room for everyone to do their own thing and enjoy our time together. I appreciated the private parking. There is also a storage area that had beach umbrellas, sand sifters, beach chairs, beach toys and beach towels. All the beds were comfy and there is also an additional LIVING ROOM that is not pictured with a huge sectional couch and TV. The kiddos loved it! The wrap around deck was great with an outdoor shower to wash the sand off. The sunset views are amazing and there is a PRIVATE beach. We had family staying in another condo down the road and they were trying to book it for their next trip!! The ONLY cons I experienced is the door facing the Gulf did not lock (I did let the property manager know) We were always there anyway and just pushed the furniture in front of it so our toddlers couldn't escape throughout the night. In the bedrooms, there are only sheer curtains so people walking by can see directly inside. We just changed our clothes in places that they couldn't see. No biggie! I absolutely love this place and will always cherish the memories made here. I pray I get another opportunity to stay here, its THAT GOOD! BOOK IT! I promise you won't be disappointed.
